Love how you kept the 2v1 at troop parity. They went into it each at about half your troop count and even with the WORST dice luck I've seen in true random in awhile you kept them low.
I love and need the emotion. It’s negotiation, everything is scrutinized and seeing your real reactions and consequences to things other players do helps me understand how other players could react as well when I do stuff.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy Idk about the rest of the audience, but I find it very enjoyable and educational when you spend your time analyzing all possible developments. Progressive is a lot of fun but fixed capitals is much more unforgiving; borders are fragile, noobs have more power, bottom line: great show, hope an upgrade to 2 times a week is worth considering
I'm so glad I found out you had this one as well! I'm really enjoying these games! That situation in Spain, or, lack there of, yeah that was rough! ROFL
Question about this, is each card guaranteed to be the same type each time? For instance, would Paris be an artillery for a whole game, or can it be artillery first time it's drawn then an infantry the next time?
hey pete, do you prefer negotiation games or the meta settings? I feel like meta settings can be more exciting at times, but I like watching negotiation games a little bit more personally. they just seem to be less luck based which is one thing I find attractive in games.
I play the meta settings more. But it's now because you guys like them. Not to say I don't but I'd be more experimental if my experiments were more enjoyed by the audience. The negotiation game I absolutely love to play. I feel like it leverages skills in the game that I'm best at. This is why I only want to play it once a week to bot spoil something special.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy fair enough. I would love to see it more but I don’t want it to lose its charm for you and of course you have to do what you feel is best for you and your channel. I wish the rest of your viewers enjoyed what I enjoyed more lol. especially the tournament games.
I was wondering if I would see an increase in views on YT if I did that. I want to encourage people to watch here. Were you watching a lot of old VODs?
Hey Pete? Today playing I got true randomed biblically. Do you know what the odds are of rolling a 16 cap with 51 troops and only killing 4 troops. I thought that might be one in a million but thought I’d ask. Crazy odds but I don’t know how to figure it and thought you might know better. Thanks for the content brother.
I think he just got distracted/caught up in the routine of making 3s from previous turns. The next turn or two he realizes it wasn't friendly and moves them out.
I haven't watched the video, but the spread of the land at the start of the match suggests he was distracted due to being on the outside of his real realm of control.
11:54 even at this point, that area of the map is pretty much dead due to orange backing out. It's fairly event it's definitely because it wasn't on his mind. It wasn't intended at all.
Yeah, he was distracted while doing it. He was thinking about the cold war and things and left 3s so nobody would break him. It was a mixture of several fronts causing distractions
I don't think he was distracted; I think the 3s were intended to subtly dissuade blue from trying to take Russia (which I don't think Pete would have wanted/allowed). Also I would argue that _it was _*_not_*_ clear that blue was trying to take Russia_ - what _was_ clear was their (fulfilled) desire for the Red cap.
36:22 Pete I love your videoes and your strategies, however, its very touchy to break alliance and block the players chat when things doesn't go your way. I've seen it in couple of your videos. From blue's point of view, he went all out on red and teamed up good with you against your biggest threat, while you instead got cards in blue's territory in Russia, making him maybe distrustful of you - instead of you attacking magenta, which was the blues biggest enemy from the start. As soon as things didn't go your way and he typed a laughing emoji, you got irritated quickly. While it's ok for you to do the same back to other opponents. People do whatever they want, so I'm not here to tell you it is bad to react like that, but it is all fair play.

I'm glad. I don't pretend to say that I respond like everyone would respond but I definitely don't hide how I feel
20:52 loosing 1 on an 8 cap!!
22:00 that's what is so intriguing about these videos, the focus is palpable
I love that about these games. I worry it makes for a worse show but they take all of my concentration to play properly

Those 1 troops are holding like Gods of Sparta!
Thanks for the explanation about drawing cards. I didn’t even realize the cards you play could come back up that quickly.

@ I think they are the same. Would have to check for sure though.
The deck for each map stays the same between turns and between games.
Snowballed a hole game today from Italy 😂 3 Players did surrender after big Card-lock
28:51 -1 on a 10 stack. nice gg
Eyy tr baby
Hey Pete long time viewer of the main channel , huge hug from Portugal :)

@@Hello-wo4sx It is an evergreen show so I'm settling in to once a week now, but I have no intention of ever stopping.
Magenta had go dice😂😂
Man I'm sorry for green. Kudos to him for staying even tho luck was definetly against him that day
Sometimes we just eat those dice
Green had some of the worst luck I’ve ever seen
Green's cap rolls this game were rough.
Pete why are all the twitch videos gone?

Why leave 3’s in Russia if your Ally in blue was trying to make claim for it

Happened*
I doubt you've seen ALL my YT vids!
Were you watching the VODs a lot?
Blocker of the spoils
yur!
Green got such bad dice the entire game. I feel bad for them genuinely.
It was tragic!

30 seconds ago?! well ok damn

Spoiler block!
Was he laughing at your misfortune or the trash dice. I laughed too but not at you, at the dice

I think I had a good sense of blue's POV given that I was able to use it to win the game.
@TheKillPeteStrategy thats fair Pete 🫡 I still got a lot to learn from you, even if we disagree on some things. Keep it coming champ 🙏🏻
bluw was stupid
