Are there any videos that NDA has that address field dressing? I know there is a lot of people out there that have a problem when it comes to field dressing because they don’t actually know how to do it and there’s not a lot of videos that show how to properly field dress, a buck or a doe..
If you wait 8 hours after a gut shot, then wouldn’t another animal just come and eat the deer and mess with the meat? (Raccoons, vultures, crows, bears, hogs)
If you find your deer, but a mountain lion is trying to claim it, does that make the mountain lion fair game like it would if it were attacking beef cattle?

No it typically takes 8 hours for the deer to die with a gut shot…typically

I don’t think so, it has to be a domestic animal I believe. Regardless of the law, I wouldn’t shoot a mountain lion if I didn’t have to.
