    WAY easier: Buy JB weld glass, remove metal back piece from mirror, glue piece on windshield, then slide mirror on after a few hrs. We didn't need anything to hold metal piece but would've used duct tape but our glue was thickening after 3-4 minutes so we didn't need tape.

    You should use the jb weld clear weld is way better than this gorilla glue, has heat retention too. Try it next time it falls

    Thank you this helped a lot. They wanted me to replace my whole windshield and I was wondering if I could put the mirror next to the original mounting area but knew it would look like crap and don’t know if it’s legal.

    Did you use Gorilla Glue and the Gorilla Brand Epoxy? If not, which glue did you use to glue mounting brack to the epoxy area?

    Greetings Joshua from Florida It's been almost a year for you is the Gorilla epoxy glue still holding? Thanks

    • @JoshuaAugust
      @JoshuaAugust  3 роки тому +4

      Actually, it got over 100 degrees here in MO and finally fell :/ I notice my Honda Accord gets unusually hotter than other vehicles as well, so could've hit 120 inside. I am redoing it again now, same way
      My car is little different than just using the yellow-typical mirror glue because I have to fill the hole as well

    How good do this hold? And how did you get it to glue? Won’t it seep down the windshield?

    • @JoshuaAugust
      @JoshuaAugust  2 роки тому +1

      The hold is really good actually :) You kind of have to work it/move it some while it dries. When you apply the metal with glue it softens the glue a little again, but it is a really quick dry...
