So excited for this game. Hoping they fix the UI, especially the chunky health bar below, making it neat & much much slimmer and the character cards look horrendous as well. I also hope they introduce more characters with traversal mechanics like Nanally. Imagine if a character had roller blades, a skateboard, or something of the sort in this world. That would be peak
i am not a huge fan of cars and some character designs are extremely meh in my opinion (lolis, giant wiggly boobas, girls with minimal animalistic features etc are so boring at this point, a rather pathetic cry for money from a company imo) but the game looks actually quite interesting. the whole parallel universe within a broken glass concept sounds dope and the antagonist from the trailer seems very very interesting. i have high hopes for the game, wish it all the best and hopefully it will not be another flop
i totally agree with you. pretty much the character design of gacha games are so repetitive making them kind of boring. but what separates them is the concept, representation and storyline which i hope that this game does it right. if not, they're just the next wuthering wave that flopped because of the very same reason.
U talk about ToF like if was a mistake, the game actualy es the funniest and most enjoyable gacha xD over wuwa n genshin and thanks to this, i have HIGH expectatives about NTE
I want to be excited but it's Hotta and that makes me nervous considering what Hotta has done to run ToF into the ground and their greedy monetary practices ($100-200 outfit and mount gachas). Unless this manages to blow my expectations out of the water and provide plenty of CONSISTENT generous routes for their F2P base to keep up (unlike ToF when they gave premium currency through exploration in Aesperia (the first "planet") and then removed it in all future zones outside of rolling a secondary gacha system for it and through achievements)), I don't see a reason to invest money or time into this when games like WuWa already exist that are doing well enough already and seem to genuinely care about their playerbase. Even Hoyo is in a better spot with me than Hotta, at least they can price their outfits appropriately and without having to spin a wheel for it. I say all of this as someone who still occasionally logs into ToF in the hopes that things will change and the devs will make good on their statements that they want to fix the game and make it better for F2P players. Seeing now that they're working on this game without any word on said changes makes me pretty doubtful that they'll happen now and it doesn't sit right with me to support this game when they can't even take care of what they started with.
Apparently they're gonna make it more f2p friendly and go towards low-mid spending if u wanna spend. Dunno how accurate that is but someone wrote it in the official discord server. So there's some hope🤔
