Breaking Endless Mode at Wave 100+ How to Go Forever in Brotato

- In this video we will breaking endless mode and reach wave 100 plus without dying in Brotato D5.
Perhaps you can use this build to break the world record?
We will start with a Loud/Knife build and transition into a gamebreaking build using Padding, Potato Thrower, Hunting Trophy, Tardigade and Alien eyes.
NOTE: Video is at 1.4x speed until wave 97. If you want to see this at a normal speed, set the player speed to .75x speed. I didn't want to upload an hour plus vid. Cheers!

NOTE: Video is at 1.4x speed until wave 97 where it resumes normal speed. If you want to see this at a normal speed from the start, set the player speed to .75x (or .8x) speed. I didn't want to upload an hour plus video. (I'm also still quite new at this and experimenting with a few things - all my other videos are normal speed).
FWIW, this run died at wave 156. I was letting the non elite waves run in the background and something insta-killed me. If I have the time I may try for a more efficient run and showcase something like wave 500+ Cheers!

It might be a better idea to split things like this into multiple videos rather than speeding it up
@@ExplosiveFloofBall Definitely a good idea! This one kind of 'blew up' unexpectedly. If I were to do this again I would have spent the time being more judicious with my video editing as opposed to speeding it up - and that's the approach I've taken since with what seems to be success.

I haven't tried Endless mode, yet. But now that you showed me how to break it, I might give it a shot. Great video!
I much prefer the normal mode myself, so I get you. You can have some fun with it. Farmer, Loud, Demon are my personal favorites for endless.

It is sadly outdated now since both padding and hunter's trophy are limited to 3. Good strat otherwise. Used that to get with the ghost to wave 42 (used ghost weapons at the start) died from 1300 damage one shott with -79 armor XD
Entertaining and good at keeping the talking going while you play. You’ve got my sub. Don’t speed it up next time though. People can skip through if they want to. And it’s a bit jarring at the speed you set it to. Just let it be a longer video. Even if you have to stamps for different waves or something.

@@SeanTIER I totally get why you sped it up too. Don’t get me wrong. UA-cam’s algorithm is an asshole for longer videos, I just figure at the end of the day you’re doing something right you were in my suggested because I like nerdy game videos and I play brotato haha. So the algorithm is going to help you out even with long vids. Love you’re work bro :)
They limited padding and hunting trophy to 3 each since this video. Bummer. Still, this guide got me past level 100. When I transitioned to Potato Throwers I started getting cyberball, baby with a beard, rip & tear, baby elephant, landmines, and explosion damage modifiers. Those made it so waves cleared themselves out before I could even touch them until around wave 75. I'm thinking I'll try this run with Glutton. Maybe the explosion damage will get so big each bomb hits the entire map
:-))) is it just me or is there no challenge after certain point?
It ramps up pretty considerably, you need enough Alien Eyes to clear the map in one spread or you end up getting killed quite quickly after your Tardigades expire. It does become more of an exercise in patience than skill at that point :)
Really cool video! I wish you wouldn't speed up your speech though, makes it sound a bit alien. Speeding up gameplay with a voiceover, cutting between important points, or just letting it run as long as it goes would be nicer :)

i dont understand where all the HP come from. He shows Padding which gives like 500 but he has 30k+ HP...

It is! I'm still figuring this whole thing out - I sped this one up a bit since it had an hour + runtime. The rest of my videos are at normal speed and I won't be speeding up others in the future. Appreciate the comment.
@@SeanTIER that’s fair. It’s just a personal preference anyways. Cutting out a few parts might also work but it’s a LOT more work and I assume you are not doing UA-cam full time so that’s probably unrealistic currently.

I tried to replicate ur run, but i didn't get any of the items needed (probably have to unlock them first) so i just went on and got to wave 36. Still a new record tough xD

what is the difference between knife and dagger? any reason to not just go thief dagger all the time and not choose knife?
Knives deal more damage - and importantly have a much higher crit modifier (knives have a 4X crit modifier which is the highest in the game). Thief daggers have a chance to give an extra material when you kill an enemy with a critical hit - so it's pure damage vs economy, essentially.
could you please write the items and weapons you should use in what waves and which ones you shouldn't use please? Because I was constantly getting confused with the items and weapons. It would mean and help alot thanks.

How do you get so many of the same weapon, do you use any mods? You're too good at this game, I've never gotten past wave 30
I occasionally mess with mods, but this run was unmodded (this was recorded pre-1.0 this type of build doesn't work in 1.0 unfortunately due to hunting trophy, padding limits)

on my first run I beat danger 5 wave 30. i want to see someone else try it it's petty sweet. the more danger you do your life steel goes through the roof plus you throw in life regen and dodge, and i got 3 riposte and a bunch of other combos
with another combo it 'might' be game breaking...
On this list to try! I had to take a break from YT due to work IRL but I plan on trying that combo
Can you do a saver run? I suck on this game, but that's the only char which I haven't finished on D5. I can never get when to start saving.

i tried to do it similair to urs, until i noticed not getting hunting thropy etc, well im playing on difficulty 0 and it appears that it starts dropping on tier 3 :D so yeah...

Yeah it's not easy to pull off. Good news if you get one becomes much easier to find the others. I go out of my way to take luck early to help.
how do i get 30k+ hp? only with Padding?
Only consentient way to get that high, yeah. You need to get a bunch of paddings then a way to continue to scale your materials (hunting trophy, harvesting etc.)

I do my best man! Between reacting to gameplay, hitting the talking points, and keeping the commentary up disfluencies do find their way in more frequently then normal. It's something which I am always trying to improve 🙏

I'm glad you enjoyed at least some aspect of the video :D I personally enjoy content with appropriately sized face cams and seek to re-create that experience. The great news is there are many awesome channels making similar videos who don't dedicate the real estate. I hope you are able to find one that you enjoy.
