You did not check-out the imperial tombs , the Bach Ma national park and experience the day & night boat ride on the Perfume river . They are beautiful and very interesting . You just scratched the thin surface of that city . Usually it takes 3 days to visit all the interesting places in Huê . 24 hours are not enough . BTW which country are you from ?
I went to Hue because from there I would go on a tour through the Hai Van Pass (check out the video if you haven't already). Only when I got there I found out how much this awesome city has to offer! 24 hours is not a lot of time but I assume many people traveling through aren't here for too long. The hostel I stayed at even had a sign "24H in Hue!" haha! I am from The Netherlands!
