Seeing you resurrect all these Amigas mends my heart bit by bit. And thank you for showing How you do it so we other people out in the world have a better chance to succeed on our own.
As always - Amazing! Inspired by you, i repaired the old Amiga 2000 rev. 6 of my best friend. Now he got another one and we will repair that thing together. Cheers and keep up your great work!
@@ChrisEdwardsRestoration i'm in California , not Florida but my name nic on some stuff if Flora Nugs :-) cheers... yeah, the amiga i got from a seller on ebay in Germany in that box you received it in. crazy huh
I've always been on the fence with those 600's man, on the one hand they're cool tiny miggie babies but on the other hand they're like ew no numpad, gross
I find it easier to clean the pads by adding flux and fresh solder before wicking it away. It seem to burn away more of the crap compared to just using braid + flux.
recently my a600 was recapped by recap service on ebay instead of using cans he used modern smd rice grain size caps not sure if it will last working to far so good

A certain female tried to reduce the AMIGA A600 to a single FPGA.
That wierd cap/resistor on U12 chip, that a last minute factory revision?
600’s had that from certain revs. It all depends on whats coming down the line and what was avail

Calm down sweetheart. I'm from one of those countries and I found it funny.

Well the cans are called low pass band filters. They are not a capacitor. Wonder how that math worked out. But working is working
