I get opening these for content but other than that….these types of things are designed to collect as much money without offering significant value to the buyer because doing that reduces their overall profit putting high value items in a mystery box. And to your point as well, getting rid of back stock and low sale items by offering the “potential” to get something of real value. 🙄
You are smart enough to realize this. The only time you see a box like this have more value than the price paid is when it is specifically uploaded as content in order to get people to buy.
I just opened 7 of these and 2 had crazy pulls !!! Each of the two had 1 platinum arceus pack, 2 black and white sampling packs, 1 xy roaring skies, 1 xy phantom forces, and one xy furious fists
from the same store? at most I got was 1 of the boxes with this pack selection in one store (typically 30-40 boxes which I assumed the ratio the seeded based on pack cost etc). I have gotten 3 of them in total the past month but the past 1-2 weeks even with fresh restock they seemed to no longer contain this pack selection, any ideas?
