Biggest difference- for the better- that people will see with this staff over the last is the individual coaching. Vrabel had a great staff early on but hung on to bad coaches in positions of power for far too long towards the end. So, for now that will improve (DRASTICALLY with some- BILL CALLAHAN). Second, the way this team chooses its plays will be far more modern. Vrabel had repeatedly said that he valued PLAYS OVER PLAYERS, whereas Brian Callahan has said he believes in the EXACT OPPOSITE. He will adjust his coaching to fit the personnel he has. I think that's a fundamental obvious difference between the two that we will also see pay dividends this year (not early but around game 5 or 6 it will really show if injuries don't ruin things).
Agreed after Arthur Smith & Matt Lafleur the Offensive coordinators were bad defense Shane Bowen wasn't bad but I'm excited for Denard Wilson
What you can say about this offensive line, we have the best O-line coach in the league... That will help this line tremendously...
The line was worse than it's made out to be. I am a die hard Titans fan. The pass blocking situation was arguably the worst in the nfl. The tackle situation was absolutely the worst in the nfl. Also I dont see Indy making the playoffs easily. Its so strange to me that people act like Richardson is some sure thing but have all these questions around Levis.
It's weird, I agree... AR-15 hasn't shown he can play 4 quarters.. let Alone a 17 game (17×4) season???
Levis showed elite arm talent, elite toughness and heart, now he will have more time and open wr's... Get ready...

I agree! Not to mention that he injured his throwing shoulder. Ik modern medical treatment is much better than it used to be. But I doubt his shoulder will ever be as strong as it was before the injury. Even with perfect rehabilitation.
Colts secondary trash 🗑️ outside of Kenny Moore. we got the second best roster in the division on paper. Indy’s offense is nice though
2nd worst O-line. The worst Interior O-line in the league belonged to Jacksonville...

Don't sleep on roger McCreary, dude is an animal in the slot. When asked to play outside his limitations show but in his natural position he is borderline elite. Didn't even give up a TD last year even tho he was asked to play outside a ton because our secondary didn't just suck but was decimated with injuries like every year with vrable...

Personally, I think Indianapolis is more likely to finish 3. We don't really know what we have with Anthony Richardson. He only played in 4 games last year so we don't really have any real data on what he actually is. Compare that to Levis where we saw a large majority of the season an we saw what we expected, a rookie quarterback. That said, Levis showed a lot of flashes of what he can do. I love what the titans have done in the off-season surrounding him with weapons. So this very much is this season where we're gonna know if Levis is the guy. If he does well in this offense they are going to be extremely good.
You could be 100% correct, I'm just so high on what Shane Steichen can do with Anthony. Their offensive system is quite literally perfect for AR, and I really do buy in on Anthonys first few games
Yeah I disagree. I think the Colts will surprise everyone. They were an off target pass away from sweeping the Texans and making the playoffs last year with a backup QB. The play call was perfect. Minshew just missed. They brought everyone back. Latu and AD are pro ready, perfect scheme fits. The way Steichan and other qbs talk about AR, plus what we saw last year... Steichan knows what he is doing.
@@chefturbo4117 We saw 3 games and AR was very middling last year. Minshew is a known, quality quarterback that honestly should be starting in this league. AR is all potential atm...

Problem with Vrabes was he wouldn’t fire his friends who where next to good for nothing and he has a big ego, that’s why he hasn’t found a job as a HC.
Everyone keeps saying Calvin riddly is overplayed. How much is he worth to you? Because he is making 10mil this year which is nothing in the grand scheme of the wr market. Next year he is making 28 which is good for 6th most but there will be 4-5 new contracts by then which may not push him out of the top 10 because of back loading but certainly makes his 19aav look still relatively cheap for a low to mid range number 1.
After that they can option to keep him for 26 or cut him for 10. We have 50mil in cap space next year likely more with roll over and the cap going up. His contract is hardly a hindrance.
That 96mil whatever that was reported was a stupid if we keep him for 4 years and pay him everything which almost never happens. A new extention happens or the player is cut.
And I was in the don't sign him it will cost to much camp before we got him lol.
Don't think you watch the Titans consistently or semi often. They had a terrible offensive line! You don't surrender 65 sacks with an ok line. I don't think Patrick Mahomes could have pulled success out of a hat in that scenario like he does in KC. Just go thru the team and not everyone else's thoughts, were an unlooked at team constantly misrepresented

Come on. The colts are going to have a tough season. If AR had not gotten hurt they would have lost more games. The dude has played only 8 games as QB in college. Eight games ! And those games were not as a body of QB play very good in relation to the skill play of an NFL QB. The team will carry him more than he will the team. Levis is a much better QB. Forget the Levis stats and watch the coaches 22 game tape. AR is at this point an unknown. Can he be great who knows based on his tape. I hope he has a great career. He would be an amazing player to watch. Levis and Stroud will be the best QBs of last years draft. We will find out what level of starting quarterback Levis will be this year. He’ll be good. But how good ? Will see. The Colts have the better overall team taken over the Titans. If Levis has top ten talent and Sweat and Simmons bring a dominant front to line of scrimmage with the improved corners and slot corner they have they will compete for the division. But will Levis be that great this year ? I think he will. It will be a fun division to watch on every Sunday.
As a Titans fan, I loved Vrabel but his inability(or refusal) to adjust mid game was maddening
I feel like we as fans think coaches make big time adjustments in half when that usually doesn’t happen too often

@@dee09motivation5show me the game where he struggled. Show me the game that he was why they lost. The dude was getting hit almost on every play. Did you see him scared. Did you see him look like he was scared. And did you see the vast majority of his pass plays were not a bunch of bad throws. Look at how many drops he had from his receivers. Why don’t you watch some coaches 22 tape besides just looking at stats that will not tell the story of his ability.
@@cliffyates4493 Levis made some boneheaded decisions but I feel like the games he did that he ended up playing some of his best games those times. Also, dude was playing on hard mode with probably the worst pass blocking situation in the nfl and a wr core that outside of DHop couldnt separate at all AND questionable (at best) play-calling. Ok, actually, the play-calling im fine with the plays mostly but the run/pass ratio was still way too predictable and Vrabel lost his feel for late game management imo; it's like he stopped reading the room (the personnel he has to work with).

@@dee09motivation5 well I think we have a different understanding what struggle is in regards to QB play. That’s fair. Yes he differently had struggles that most rookies have. What I mean are the big struggles that blow and game were a player is causing his team to loss. With Levi’s the games where the Titans lost was not because of him not being able to execute the game plan to the extent you point to him and say Levi’s lost the game for the team. There was not any game that the plays he did struggle on where the reason they lost. It was poor line play, poor receivers catching balls. Poor defensive backs and special teams play. And throw in the play calling. The Titans lost due to those reasons, not because of Levis. His accuracy was very good. In the worst game he played in, Tampa-bay, he had 3 throws which were bad throws. His completion stat were skewed often due to drops. In throwing the ball into the tightest windows for completions, the PFF guys said Levis was best from the week he started. He stood in the pocket and didn’t show any signs of nervous feet and delivered the ball on point. Yes he had miss reads, of course. And had struggles on particular plays. All I meant is that in aggregate his struggles did not cause the team to lose. One other thing is you hear people say he does not throw with touch. That he has to learn to do that. He did it every game. He had some really soft throws from screens to 35 yards down the field. Go watch an entire coaches 22 game were the team lost. He was the only reason they were even in the game. So your right - yes he did struggle, but not like some terrible I can’t play quarterback way. The Dude balled out. Levis is going to be good. Very good.

They’ve said they plan to add a safety and edge still this offseason. Also, I think NPF will be the right tackle not Radunz.
I was on board until u said the colts are a more talented team. 😂😂😂 skill positions titans are head and shoulders above. A rich and Will are literally a wash at this point so outside of oline and backers where are the colts more talented? Steichen for sure has the ups on Callahan but we haven’t even seen nothing from Callahan yet to Judge him.
Talent as in players who have room to grow. The colts oline far outclasses the titans. So does a lot of the defensive positions. Anthony is far more talented than Levis (there was a reason he was a top 5 pick).

Colts and jags are still very mid. Colts barely added anything woth free agency and draft. AR is still pretty much a rookie and already has been prone to injury.
