1 I think the the problem with the gps is where they are getting their map data, niantic is getting it from google, does that dragon quest game work outside of Japan? 2 the change of the Kh franchise might be the change to go multiplatform on launch, because that is the change that we have seen, and that square has said before
I don't know if this means anything, but back in June, I noticed that in the "Kingdom Hearts mobile" playlist on the official KH YT channel, there was no Missing Link trailer that was there when it originally came out last year. (Of course, the trailer is still on the channel, just not in any playlist). I guess they did this so they could make a separate playlist for ML in the future, but it's still pretty weird.
I had a thought while watching this-- Maybe they're going all out for this mobile game, and depending on how the GPS and world aspect is liked by the players, perhaps KH4 will have an entire procedurally generated Japan, or maybe even be literally LINKED with the mobile game's gps features to use the generated maps
My guess is kh4 is releasing sooner than we think so the missing link devs are grinding to have a near full story so by the time we get kh4 any of the immediately kh4 relevant lore will be released

I loved watching kingdom hearts union x cutscenes you can still buy the game and customize a character my character’s name is Star she’s got cream hair and kimono style outfits that I posted on Tik Tok and tumblr

@@davidordaz5251 (Gotta split this in 2 comments sorry) Technically you could look up all the lord of any game on UA-cam and never have to play another game again, but we’re here to enjoy the franchise of games as a whole. While I do agree with you, the early days of KH made it a hassle with spreading out all the content on different platforms to stay informed, I don’t think they’re continuing in that path. In fact, it’s the opposite as everyone has access to a phone this day in age which means everyone has access to KH. Which brings me to the next point, I think anyone who genuinely follows KH lore (not saying you don’t) will desperately be open to any form of media we can get so we can continue getting our questions answered and learning more, hence why I think most of the community is excited for missing link, contrary to your beliefs.

If you look at one of the highest grossing games (not strictly mobile but game in general) PokemonGo is at the top of the list consistently. This why SE is taking a similar route to increase revenue. The most profitable games in the industry are mobiles games, albeit because of micro Transactions, but if this was a console title, you wouldn’t be able to monetize it the same way you could a mobile game. All in all I see where you’re coming from and hope you can come around and get a bit more excited for KHML and hope you end up enjoying it
