Hey guys! This video will be about how to find your undertone quickly and easily. Have you been struggling to find out if you have cool, warm, neutral or an olive undertone? Well, this video should help you figure that out with no problem. Knowing your undertone can make a huge difference when it comes to picking out makeup, clothing and even your jewelry. I'm going to walk you through the basics of undertone and how to identify what yours is without the additional hassle. This video will show you how to find your undertone for dark skin, medium skin and light skin tones alike. I agree. I love pastel colors but I always looked terrible in them. Turns out I have an olive undertone so now just wear jewel-toned deep-hue colors.

You gave us so many easy ways to figure out what we are, and after this video I have come to the conclusion that I’m just dumb 💀💀 or colorblind bc I swear I have gotten warm, cool, neutral, and olive depending on which test I do 😂😂

I'm still confused. I turn red in the sun but don't burn. I see both green and blue in my veins and I look good in many colors based on my complexion, but both gold and rose gold jewelry makes my complexion look amazing. So I feel I still don't know for sure what my undertone is :(

The one thing I don’t love about most of the undertone tests, is that they are subjective. Asking yourself whether black, white, silver or gold looks “better” on your skin is so subjective. There is no absolute or “right” answer. I always thought I had olive undertones as that’s what the women in my family always said. However, based on all the undertone tests I’ve done and videos I’ve watched, I actually think I’m more of a warm undertone.
I think I’ll go ask a professional make up artist. I really like how your video included pictures of the different vein colors! That was so super helpful.! 🙏🏼👍🏼😊

I still have some confusing between warm and olive undertone...my vein are green so is the indicator that I have warm undertone...at the same time I have a lots in common with olive undertone...I hope you will go back again in this tutorial..? Thank you you are beautiful 😍 and a great teacher
Hello 👋🏾! Olive 🫒 undertone can come off initially as warm, and can even wear many things warm undertones can. Olive undertones also do well with neutrals. When it doubt, try both and see which works out better for you. Hope this helps! Thank you so much for watching!

Hello 👋🏾! I am so sorry I am just seeing your comment. UA-cam just showed me your comment today. Cool skin tones (those with blue and pink undertones) can look washed out in pure white but better in off-white, and those with neutral undertones may feel they can equally pull off both

The tan and burn thing: how does that apply for black people?
Hello 👋🏾! Black people can still get sunburn. I got mild ah burn when I went to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, but I was out in the sun for a longgggg time. I’d say for most black folk who are very melanated they should use the gold/silver/rose gold jewelry trick or the color shade trick before leaning on the sunburn trick to best determine undertone. Hello 👋🏾! Your skin tone might change but your undertone will never change. whether tan in summer or bright in winter, you will still have the same undertone.
What jewelry and colors look best on you? This will be an indicator into your skin tone.

LOL! Hey girl! I understand. If you truly feel like both gold and silver look amazing on you, I mean you feel like those tones make you shine ✨, then you’re most likely a neutral undertone. You’re neither too red nor too yellow, your tone is a mix of both tones.

This always happens to me LOL! when I get home and apply the foundation am like “ 😱 OMG” this is not what I thought it was 😳😭😭😭 and I cry over my lost of money🥲🥲🥲 thanks ! A makeup artist once told me try it on ur chin or side of ur cheeks instead of ur arms it will be more accurate !
