When you seek answers from the Book of Mormon instead of the Bible, God can't help you because you have turned your back on Him. Therefore this leaves the door open for Satan (II Corinthians 11:14-15) to step into your life with a false christ or prophet showing you signs and wonders to lead you away from the real Jesus of the Bible who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. God Himself warns us about this in: MATTHEW 24: 23-24 "Then if anyone says to you, Look, here is the Christ! or There! do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect..." Mormons teach and believe that their jesus is the brother of Satan, which contradicts what God says in His Bible that Jesus is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. So Mormons, which Jesus do you believe in? A. Your jesus of the Book of Mormon, who is the brother of Satan. OR B. The Jesus of the Bible, who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity.
I'll provide you with one answer, but I am not interested in disrespectful interaction. If you don't like my answer, you are welcome to agree to disagree and go your way. You are the guest here, and it is not my aim to respond to claims which are based on little knowledge of the BoM or LDS doctrine. Some of the questions you posed require more than a simple one or two sentence answer. I am also quite certain that you have never read the BoM. I have read not only the BoM many times, but the OT and NT. Regardless, here is my attempt to address your questions. First and foremost, the "Mormon" Christ is the same that is taught in the OT, NT, and Book of Mormon. There is no inconsistency in either. Christ is a member of the Godhead, along with God the Father and the Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ was known as Jehova in the OT, but upon coming to earth and being the only begotten of the Father through Mary, he took on a body and began his time on earth as Jesus Christ, the Messiah that had been prophesied by many including Moses, Isaiah, and many more OT prophets. BoM prophets from Lehi to Nephi, Jacob, and all others through to his birth also prophesied of his coming and mission as the redeemer of mankind. In order to better understand Christ's relationship to Lucifer (Satan) you need to understand that all of God the Father's children were with him in spirit prior to coming to earth and taking upon themselves bodies. Jehova and Lucifer are spiritual sons of the Father as are all of us who have come to this earth. Not only was Jehova a brother of Lucifer, but we were also (Jeremiah 1:4-6). Lucifer and 1/3 of God's spirit children rebelled against the Father's plan which cause him and those that followed him to be cast out, never to have a chance to come to earth and experience a worldly experience (see Isaiah 14:12-14, Revelation 12:7). They provide the necessary opposition to all that is good in this world. Finally, in terms of your reference to Matthew 24: 23-24, you will have to decide if the Book of Mormon is true or not. You will only come to know this by reading and asking God ; and if you shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. If it is not true, you need not worry about us. But if it is, then you will have missed out and only you will be held accountable. All the best!

You and the Mormon church use similar Christian terms like God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and even quote from the Bible. Satan himself quoted from the Scriptures in MATTHEW 4:1-11. But similar Christian terms and quoting from the Bible don't make you a Christian. Knowing the true identity of Jesus Christ (John 14:6) in a world full of false christs and false prophets (Matthew 24:23-24) will mean the difference between you going to heaven or hell. You believe in a jesus who is the brother of Satan, which contradicts what God says in His Bible that Jesus is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. There is no Biblical or academic evidence to support anything in Mormonism. You should throw away the Book of Mormon, find a good Bible base church, and read the Bible instead. If you do this, God promises this to you in: JOHN 8:32 "And you shall KNOW the truth, and the truth shall make you free..."
Are you saying that salvation is based on works ? According to verse 8
Mosiah chapter 4 is all about what one must do to be worthy of salvation. 2 Nephi 31 is also clear on what that road looks like after baptism.
Lazy bums dont get rewards....doing work gets you wages and rewards
Yes, salvation is based on works aka commandments.
