      Anything is possible but most of the BoM language speaks to the western hemisphere, particularly when you combine latter-day revelations in Doctrine and Covenants where the Lord refers to "Lamanite lands" in the USA.

    Rewarding bad behavior (pan handling i.e. wasting time in non-productivity) by giving money to pan handlers, encourages more bad behavior. Giving money to drug addicts, to finance their drug addiction, prolongs their drug addiction and makes the drug dealers rich. Since God has entrusted us with blessings (musical talent, financial acumen, construction skill), we must not squander those blessings on pan handlers who will waste them. Do not cast pearls ... A few years ago, I departed Temple Square after Conference and passed a man holding a small sign "I need help". He stood below a bronze plaque mounted to the Temple Square Wall which read "Do not give money to pan handlers. Instead, donate to the Food Bank.". Most Conference Goers obeyed the sign, as they should. Giving money to pan handlers is bad. I asked the man, "What help do you need?". I need money to pay for a prescription, he replied. "Why didn't your medicaid doctor, who wrote the prescription, fill it at his office?" I asked. After some additional conversation, I reasoned that money alone would not fully solve his immediate need, so I drove him to the nearest pharmacy, where the pharmacist verified the veracity of the prescription and the man had his medication. It cost about $10. On another occasion, a pan handler chided me for not taking pity on him. I stopped to discuss "What is your beef with society to assume that random people owe you something?". After a brief conversation he revealed "I was at My Lai. I killed children.". Ah, his conscription by Pres Johnson into the Viet Nam War ruined this guy's life. So, I bought him a couple hot dogs and a pint of milk. He admitted that his pan handling was for beer money. I told him, "You need protein and calcium, not alcohol." Do not give money to pan handlers to finance their addiction. Be careful how you spend your endowments from God.

    Considering Mormonism, the only one who can be an elder or pastor in a church is one who has one wife and is above reproach in every way. The Bible books of Timothy and Titus explain the requirements for a pastor. Joseph Smith nor Birmingham Young met these godly requirements set by God Almighty. Joseph Smith had 40 wives and Bingham Young had 55 wives and could never be pastors or church leaders and some of Smith’s wives were already married. They even took married women to be their wives and young girls. They believe men can call as many women as they desire from the grave to rule planets alongside of them. They believe they will be more mighty than God in rulership of planets. An honest Mormon will have no problem stating this. I knew a lady years ago, whereby, a male Mormon friend told her he was going to call her from the grave to be one of his wives. Though this teaching is all a lie and no where found in the Bible which cannot be added to or subtracted from. I knew a gal who was visiting in a Mormon home and she was shocked when the husband/father asked will a woman come and turn off the television. Christ was not married and is not. Mormons state, Christ had wives on the earth and now, in heaven. This is a total lie. Plus, there are no female angels and no wives in heaven. Christ is undefiled, holy, innocent, pure, set apart from sinners and exalted above the heavens; Hebrews 7:26. Mormons state they believe the Bible. If they believed the Bible they would not follow one word these adulterers’ preached. Adulterers are not allowed into heaven. And there is no marriage in heaven. Mormons will lie and state marriage is in heaven. Sinful men love to hear they can have more than one wife as their sinful flesh desires this. This is why these lies appealed to so many when Smith and Young preached and they knew it and ran with it to make adulterous sinners feel righteous. I was lied to on a Mormon tour in Salt Lake. I was told Mormons were allowed to have more than one wife for the purpose of populating Utah. This is a deliberate lie as plural wives was instituted by Joseph Smith who never knew of Utah. Moving Mormons to Utah all arose under Bingham Young. It was in upstate New York that this occultic religion originated. My husband once worked with Mormons and they had no problems being unfaithful to their wives; and why would they when adultery is the foundation of this occultic belief system? Plus, they are not born again by the Holy Spirit of the Bible. They are unsaved fleshly men. And I will add, many Mormons have no problem swearing. A Christian man is to view women, outside of their wife, as sisters in all purity through the power of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling. Plus, adulterers are not allowed in the true church. Anyone who commits this sin must repent or be put out of the church. One example is found in 1 Corinthians 5 and chapter 6 is important too regarding sin. It must be remembered: “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” Heaven is reserved for those who believe in the Jesus Christ of the Bible alone and have been wash clean through His blood. Though no Christian is perfect and when they sin they must ask forgiveness through God’s love for them. God is compassionate and understands our weaknesses. A true Christian is deeply convicted of sin that they might repent. Jesus Christ stated there is no marriage in heaven. Please read the inerrant, holy Bible, Matthew chapter 22. True Christians will rule no planets and have no wives. They will be servants to the living God with whom lies no sin. It will completely encompass the LORD God and worshipping Him alone. Only through one’s surrender to Jesus Christ can would be delivered from sinful temptation. No garment with markings can do this! Such garments are obvious idols. Romans 10:9-10 from the Bible: “That if you confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.” Mormon men owning many wives has caused grief amongst many Mormon women with their incestuous ways. I knew a lady who was secretary to a local counselor and he did not know what to do as all these Mormon women were coming to him for help. One local Christian counselor would ask Mormon women, when they were sexually abused by their fathers, not when, because he understood Mormonism and rightly assumed all who came to him had been abused. No false prophets are allowed in the church. If one prophesies wrongly one time, it reveals their prophecy came from satan, not from God who never lies. Brigham Young taught that Adam is actually god and Adam impregnated Mary, etc. Some of Mormonism blasphemes Almighty God and teaches that God the Father impregnated Mary. It is all satanically insane. There are also no secrets in the Bible and within Mormonism you can get to certain levels to obtain special revelation. This is satanic doctrine. There are no levels of gaining special hidden truths when it comes to God’s and His holy Word. And no white under garments will special markings will usher one into heaven. Nor are they holy. They are stitched by sinful men and women and mean nothing; nor are they different from any other garment. And this is not commanded in Scripture. No works can get anyone to heaven. According to the LDS Church, “The temple garments serve a number of purposes. First, the garment provides the member ‘a constant reminder’ of the covenants they made in the temple. Second, the garment ‘when properly worn ... provides protection against temptation and evil.’ “ I will also add, all the original leaders of Mormonism were Freemasons and Joseph Smith and his gang obviously stole the ritual ideas from this satanic cult group. “LDS Church temple worship shares an extensive commonality of symbols, signs, vocabulary and clothing with Freemasonry, including robes, aprons, handshakes, ritualistic raising of the arms, etc.[4] The interpretation of many of these symbols has been adapted to the Mormon narrative from their original meanings in Freemasonry. For example, whereas Masons exchange secret handshakes to identify fellow Freemasons, Mormonism teaches that these handshakes must be given to sentinel angels so that Mormons may be admitted into the highest kingdom of heaven. LDS temple garments also bear the Masonic symbols of the Square and Compass, although the LDS Church has imbued these symbols with religious meaning that exceeds the meaning of the symbols as intended by Freemasonry.” “Tuesday, [March] 15. - I officiated as grand chaplain at the installation of the Nauvoo Lodge of Free Masons, at the Grove near the Temple. Grand Master Jonas, of Columbus, being present, a large number of people assembled on the occasion. The day was exceedingly fine; all things were done in order, and universal satisfaction was manifested. In the evening I received the first degree in Freemasonry in the Nauvoo Lodge, assembled in my general business office. History of the Church, by Joseph Smith, Deseret Book, 1978, Vol.4, Ch.32, p.550-1.)” All God’s truths are laid out perfectly in the Bible which cannot be added to or subtracted from. Jesus Christ of only the Bible and no other books is the thrill of hope for a sick, hurting, and weary world-Romans 10:9-10 from the Bible: “That if you confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.”

    Moroni ch 10 v 9 insights into the BOM, and the this scripture, of the Word of Wisdom, back in the ancient Americas.

    • @danpiedra3910

      Moroni 10:9 is found within a section where Moroni addresses the gifts of the spirit, one of which is to teach the word of wisdom. Stephen L. Richards "Wisdom cannot be disassociated from [the gift of] discernment, but it involves some other factors...Wisdom is sometimes defined as sound judgment and a high degree of knowledge. I define wisdom as being the beneficent application of knowledge in decision. I think of wisdom not in the abstract but as functional. Life is largely made up of choices and determinations...The really vital things in life are relatively few, my brethren and sisters-the body, family, property, and relationship to man and God. You may have wisdom about health, housing, marriage, children, economics, education, and even government if you truly seek it and live for it. The fundamental knowledge which the Church brings to you will bring you understanding. Your testimony, your spirit, and your service will direct the application of your knowledge; that is wisdom. Every man needs it a hundred times a day. Every woman needs it. Every youth needs it. The foolish and the wise are the antipodes of mankind as are the two poles of the earth. The foolish build on the sand; the wise on the rock. The one perishes; the other endures. Thank God for the gift of wisdom." (Conference Report, Apr. 1950, p. 163-64)

    Are Mormons considered Christians?

  • @AlbertJLouie
    @AlbertJLouie 7 місяців тому

    When you seek answers from the Book of Mormon instead of the Bible, God can't help you because you have turned your back on Him. Therefore this leaves the door open for Satan (II Corinthians 11:14-15) to step into your life with a false christ or prophet showing you signs and wonders to lead you away from the real Jesus of the Bible who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. God Himself warns us about this in: MATTHEW 24: 23-24 "Then if anyone says to you, Look, here is the Christ! or There! do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect..." Mormons teach and believe that their jesus is the brother of Satan, which contradicts what God says in His Bible that Jesus is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. So Mormons, which Jesus do you believe in? A. Your jesus of the Book of Mormon, who is the brother of Satan. OR B. The Jesus of the Bible, who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity.

      I'll provide you with one answer, but I am not interested in disrespectful interaction. If you don't like my answer, you are welcome to agree to disagree and go your way. You are the guest here, and it is not my aim to respond to claims which are based on little knowledge of the BoM or LDS doctrine. Some of the questions you posed require more than a simple one or two sentence answer. I am also quite certain that you have never read the BoM. I have read not only the BoM many times, but the OT and NT. Regardless, here is my attempt to address your questions. First and foremost, the "Mormon" Christ is the same that is taught in the OT, NT, and Book of Mormon. There is no inconsistency in either. Christ is a member of the Godhead, along with God the Father and the Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ was known as Jehova in the OT, but upon coming to earth and being the only begotten of the Father through Mary, he took on a body and began his time on earth as Jesus Christ, the Messiah that had been prophesied by many including Moses, Isaiah, and many more OT prophets. BoM prophets from Lehi to Nephi, Jacob, and all others through to his birth also prophesied of his coming and mission as the redeemer of mankind. In order to better understand Christ's relationship to Lucifer (Satan) you need to understand that all of God the Father's children were with him in spirit prior to coming to earth and taking upon themselves bodies. Jehova and Lucifer are spiritual sons of the Father as are all of us who have come to this earth. Not only was Jehova a brother of Lucifer, but we were also (Jeremiah 1:4-6). Lucifer and 1/3 of God's spirit children rebelled against the Father's plan which cause him and those that followed him to be cast out, never to have a chance to come to earth and experience a worldly experience (see Isaiah 14:12-14, Revelation 12:7). They provide the necessary opposition to all that is good in this world. Finally, in terms of your reference to Matthew 24: 23-24, you will have to decide if the Book of Mormon is true or not. You will only come to know this by reading and asking God ; and if you shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. If it is not true, you need not worry about us. But if it is, then you will have missed out and only you will be held accountable. All the best!

      @@danpiedra3910 No, you are on a "public site" open to all opinions both for or against. If you don't want to hear the truth then you should stop posting videos on UA-cam. You and the Mormon church use similar Christian terms like God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and even quote from the Bible. Satan himself quoted from the Scriptures in MATTHEW 4:1-11. But similar Christian terms and quoting from the Bible don't make you a Christian. Knowing the true identity of Jesus Christ (John 14:6) in a world full of false christs and false prophets (Matthew 24:23-24) will mean the difference between you going to heaven or hell. You believe in a jesus who is the brother of Satan, which contradicts what God says in His Bible that Jesus is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. There is no Biblical or academic evidence to support anything in Mormonism. You should throw away the Book of Mormon, find a good Bible base church, and read the Bible instead. If you do this, God promises this to you in: JOHN 8:32 "And you shall KNOW the truth, and the truth shall make you free..."

    Why has there never been one artifact found regarding the ancient civilization of the Book of Mormon.

    • @BOMInsights
      @BOMInsights 9 місяців тому

      Artifacts dating to that period have been found, but it is difficult to tie them directly to that exact community since there were likely other communities in the new world. That being the case, the best artifact is the plates and interpreters that were used to arrive at what we call the Book of Mormon today. Three individuals bore witness of the same and their testimony is found in the introductory pages of the BoM. Another eight witnesses saw the plates as well, their testimony is also found there.
