Hiiiiiiii Kelly. Been wondering about you. I freeze my chillies and dehydrate some of them and store them in jars. I didn’t have much luck with loufas. I WILL try them again. Grasshoppers hate peppermint. I put some oil drops in water in a spray bottle. I know what you mean about ‘sense of community’. Ants….just for fun, try spraying vinegar on the wood where they travel. A pest control guy told us to do that around our air cons to keep the lizards from damaging the electrical parts on the units. Bunnings have a real strong vinegar for cleaning. Give it a go. Thanks for the pest tips! I will for sure try the peppermint trick with the grasshoppers. They are even destroying the banana plants now
