Buetiful place to be ! I wonder if there maybe any gold in near by little drainages to process the dirt with a dry method for more income and potentially make jewelry or sell😊
Thanks for the update video it's been fun watching the progress. It's cool to see what can be made with items that usually end up in the landfill. I find helpful things I can borrow from your adventures and can inspire me to use at my place. Planting things that give back, living more frugal enjoying nature. Maybe I could visit sometime lend a hand or two. Not too far away near the AZ Trail Oracle. Good luck with 2024 positive thoughts, uplift consciousness.
I just subscribed and I really don't understand how you have so few subscribers. Well I have watched many of your videos and have been inspired . Thank you . Off grid in middle TN and loving everything about it.
Thank you for the support, I really enjoy helping people find independence. Sharing our videos to people who you think would relate is the best way to help our channel. UA-cam is definitely a marathon and hard work to grow.
So awesome you guys...it is quite the commitment to be out here off grid and building literally from the ground up! Huge respect for what you have gotten done in four years and your place is beautiful :) The 3D printer is such a smart addition! Yep, as we have finished up our chicken coop, our house plans have gotten smaller and smaller. Smaller is good when it comes to hyperadobe earthbag construction...it's a huge amount of work. Well done! Love seeing your updates and all the best to you for 2024!!!
Add a (roofing material) table on posts to catch more rain water,, just a roof on posts at a height to enable the water to drain to a holding tank of sorts...
I've just retired and looking forward to building a earth ship home, my only concern is intruders while going to town for supplies, have you ever had any issues like that?
Sun 370 days a year... 😅 My guess is you meant 270. I'm envious of your adventures. Proud of you to maintain the dream. God bless! I lived in the Tucson desert for 3 years. Best regards, Butch. I've subscribed.

Cool sculpture. Good work with tiny and earthbag homes. So, as homesteaders and living off the land, why burn wood (pallets) that could be used toward building more tiny houses? Re-use, upcycle, re-purpose, yes?
The pallet burning was a little hard for me personally. But that was the college tradition, not my own call haha. Thanks for watching and the kind words
This video just popped up in my feed. Will follow along for sure. Were looking for land in Mojave or Yavapai county. Will have to check out your past videos. Interested to see something on doing septic up that way or the septic Barrel system that seems to be ok in some south eastern AZ counties. Cheers~
None of these off-grid living videos tell us what we are looking to know what we want to know is where can you get away with this because there's almost nowhere where you can get away with this there is regulations on everything even in the middle of the desert now you fall under all kinds of county city state and homeowners regulations.
@@CitizenCane-w6p Cochise County AZ - very loose regulations. I spent a lot of years traveling the country and landed here because of the limited regulations
Hmmmm, DON’T pay those annually due property taxes?, & you’ll very SOON find out who really owns “your” land & homestead. Spoiler: it’s NOT you &? It’s NOT “debt-free” either. 🤦♂️.
Thank you all for 4 years! Looking forward to bringing you even more builds and educational videos this year!
Just get l.e.d. lights ,shutters plexiglass mirrors , make electric at night
Being from Tucson I have always wanted to live like this in my backyard
Do it :) cochise County is a little easier permitting wise

There is gold in the area for sure. We had a buddy pan the wash and found a fleck or two, but not enough to really make it worth the time
@@TerraformTogether a small drywasher unit , and something to vacuum bedrock may prove much more, panning moves very little material. Take care

Amazing progress. How far are you from town and how close are neighbors?
We are about a 30 min drive from a few towns. Our nearest neighbor that's not part of out little community is about a mile away.

Debt free you mean you don’t pay any property tax?
@@5toed-lizard. property tax isn't a debt. And it's $250/ year

In the Texas desert terlingua they said
Don’t worry, the county will put you back into debt, forever. Its called property taxtortion.
Our property tax is only $235/ year. Really not too bad for something that is inevitable
