Beautiful bike now running AND sounding so sweet. You have certainly weaved your magic on this Black Beauty Paul. Well done and thank you for riding her to such a stunning location.
And thank you for your kind words!
Man, machine and landscape in perfect harmony. Each made for each other. I'd have stopped at the ice cream van though!
Thanks - it actually crossed my mind to stop there, but I wanted to go to the 'top', as far as the tarmac was concerned.
You can feel the torque thru the sound. Hard to beat a good 850 for an enjoyable vintage ride.
Just noticed your comment to DS. Love it Paul, he is a bit full of himself Lol!
That kind seem to have pop up from time to time, it would seem.
Having just replace the rocker box gaskets on my T140, I appreciate the Commando's rocker boxes cast into the head to take the valve loads.
TOP!!
Sounding a lot less "whirry" this and last ride than the earlier one. Maybe it WAS just the mic then. Well done! What a gorgeous snorter.
Thanks again, Bill!
What is that whine? It sounds like a throw-out bearing in a car that's gone out... is that the tach drive?
No there's a serious fault with the notorious Norton faducal indicator which will require a number for test rides to fix the problems. 😉😉
Hmm - that's a thought!
Paul Henshaw if you are too busy to road test it I don’t mind helping you out 😊
