I got the Bambu X1C with AMS combo and it is truly and incredible printer. Not only is the print quality/speed amazing but the user experience/mobile app/community is on another level.
I also have an Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus which is a very decent printer with a bigger build volume than the X1C. At this point I just don't see myself using it that much because of how outstanding the X1C experience is unless I need to print something bigger. The X1C auto calibration/bed leveling/first layer inspection/wifi access/etc/etc/etc just makes it so much better.
Hello! Just wanted to say thank you very much for your amazing videos and recommendations. At 19 years in the Air Force, I'm coming close to retirement and needed to find a hobby as to not drive my wife crazy. After a bunch of research, I finally landed on the P1S, and it has been printing things ever since I got it. Thanks for your help! It is an amazing, reliable print, and now I need to get the AMS since I just got the machine to dip my feet into the hobby. I'm hooked. 🤦🏾♂️😅
Wish Bamboo said they had a lager printer coming out. I’ve been waiting on one but it’s almost so late to the game that it might not even matter anymore.
I finally pulled the trigger on a P1S and i am absolutely in love with it! Unfortunately broke the filament sensor cable while trying to remove the filament feed tube so I'm just stockpiling print ideas while i wait haha

My problem with FLSun is they have the longest list of recent shady things they've done of any company on this list, which says something because Creality is here (though to be fair they've not had much controversy recently). Flsun has had problems ranging from shady review contracts to some reviewers to the most dishonest spec sheets I've ever seen (insane flow rate claims no one has actually seen with verified testing as they've sorta played games to make the gcode and screen display as if they actually were going that speed).

Finding a good printer is part of the it, finding a good filament is the other part of it and unfortunately sometimes the filament can leave you thinking the printer is bad, when in actual fact its the filament not the printer. For example if the filament winding is tangled it will cause jams during printing and means you have to baby sit a print to keep an eye on it.
Man I had a spool of flashforge that kept tangling. I would periodically unroll the filament while it was printing from my office in the front of my house all the way to the back and then reroll until I had used that whole damn thing up.

Tangles are 99.99% of the time user error where a user loses the end of a spool and then it goes under another end. This is because spooling is continuous and you can't physically tangle a spool mid way through.

@colenado Every time someone responds like this I have to ask how they feel it's possible given that you physically cannot make a knot Ina continuously wound spool in the process of winding it.
