    How do you feel about how the string saver saddles change the tone with the "reduced 2k spike?" I've spend many hours researching and contemplating getting one of these for the piezo. Would be cool to hear some lead stuff without the midi.

    Can you show the cable connections please? Is the magnetic pickup connected to standard guitar amp though a standard guitar cable or are you sending everything to the midi processor through the 13pin cable and then taking a Guitar direct out from the midi processor?

      In this video, the magnetic pickup signal is going through the 13 pin cable, to the GR-20, and from the GR-20 to the amp.

      @@PHREDinstruments thanks. So the graphtec 13 pin out contains the midi signal, the piezo pickup signal as well as the magnetic pickup signals? Are the piezo/mag pickup signals sent as per the selector switch selection?

    I'd be interested in hearing a song, any song in any genre of music which takes advantage of all of the included electronic components, in any configuration, as long as they're all utilized at some point in the composition, in live, real time rather than dubbed over in the studio..
    Not sure if that sentence makes sense, but not sure how else I could word it.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
    Basically, just wanting to see some kind of demonstration where it becomes apparent that all of the components are required to be fully functional and utilized in order to play the song..
    Really, my aim is to see justification for this instrument, basically.
    Is that something you can do or anyone else for that matter? Is there any artists who can do that or require that to perform? The more utilitarian the components, the more impressive it becomes in my opinion.
    For what it's worth, that's my unsolicited $0.02 offered here free of charge ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    So I got my hexpander guitar set up, what midi controller do I need to make my guitar souls like drums, cello or French horns?

    great guitar!! What kind of volume/tone knobs are those?

    • @PHREDinstruments
      @PHREDinstruments  3 роки тому

      It’s a 25k volume by WD Music, and 500k CTS tone pot for magnetic pickups. The single coil does not have a tone pot. The midi and piezo volume knobs are what’s included in the GraphTech kit.

      As for the knobs, they are gold with abalone tops.

    What software are you using?

    • @PHREDinstruments
      @PHREDinstruments  Рік тому

      No software. Just the Roland GR-20 for the synth sounds.
