The Chapel Mango is a Christian church located in Seffner, Florida. We believe in Loving God, Loving People, and Making Disciples. We also believe that there is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.
Great video, you lay out God's commands/laws very well.
What a blessing it is to see the truth preached with courage and love. This is what we need today!
Not sure how I “stumbled” across this video but in glad I did! This is a great congregational conversation for apologetics!
I’ve personally learned much from people such as Jackie Hill Perry, Christopher Yuan, Beckett Cook and many others who have denied / left the homosexual lifestyle.
One thing that I’ve heard “progressive” or gay affirming churches rebuttal with is the actual term “homosexuality” & to justify that the term is actually in reference towards pedophelia…the term is arsenokoitai that they argue against. I’d love to hear yalls response to this!
God bless, I look forward to being blessed by this church/ channel on my free time :)
Arsenokoitai simply needs to be honestly broken down. It comes from Leviticus.
Specifically: Leviticus 20:13 ESV
If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.
They are saying that this verse is talking about pedophilia, but it's clearly not the case if one just reads the verse.
As for a clear passage against homosexuality, I suggest you read Romans 1. Here's a sample from the chapter:
Romans 1:26-27 ESV
For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; [27] and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
God bless ❤✝️
The really cool thing about God's love with homosexual couples is that God doesn't say a woman can't live with a woman. or that a man can't live with another man, He only outlaws the lustful behavior between the two. If two same sex people live together but do not engage in sexual or lustful behavior, then no sin has been committed, and that is ultimately what God wants from us.
