I have just sorted my mixer tap out after seeing this. My unit was slightly different, take the hose off and you need an open ended spanner or adjustable spanner to unscrew it, that released a small valve piece with 2 rubber rings on, one had become dislodged causing the problem. I merely cleaned it, replaced the same ring and re-assembed, all working fine now, so many thanks.
Close enough to mine to get me started and able to figure out the rest myself. 12mm hex as shown here. Then a flat bladed screwdriver to hold the shuttle from turning while I unscrewed the top button, which then reviled 10mm spanner flats to remove the top section. Thank you
Thankyou so much. Ordered m12 hex key from Amazon and needed an adjustable spanner to loosen the shower hose connection. Note the rubber washer at bottom of the stop piece had moved onto the shower connection so had to take off and reapply then worked fine switching between 👍🙌👏
