The on and off of this pairing actually took a toll on their chemistry. For the past 5 seasons, Kat was made to jump from one fling to another instead of developing any in-depth relationship. I hope that (since this is probably the last season) they will make time for them to bring that chemistry back. Which means - SCREEN TIME! I dunno about The Bold Type. They’ve started as progressive, but Adena never had a full season under her belt. She’s always recurring hence the lack of storylines, development and screen time. Kat’s own journey was affected by this flux too.
She was actually in the main cast in season 2. But I agree they under-developed and under-utilised the character for sure, and should have been main cast all five seasons

TBH I don't think the character of Adena was developed enough to fit into Kat's life ...for me it felt like Kat was constantly walking on eggshells with her since she was essentially her queer/bi awakening..idk my opinion
