Kat is always so fast up with her triggered emotions! She needs to think of Adena being a Muslim and she has to be really careful. Adena is really matured, knows how and when to response and act up. Kat still needs a lot of emotional growing to do even though her intentions is good. Her drive is overtaking the proper actions to be considerate of other people's well being
I see both sides of this. I just to conclusions as well and would probably say the same thing about Adena. It does seem like she has lost that passion. Even if she didn’t agree with Kat’s ideas on how to go ahead the old her would have still brain stormed more legal options you know? But yeah. Kat is definitely a bit dramatic and emotional lol But also very passionate about this issue so I completely understand. It’s a very important topic. Her even wanting to tackle such an issue shows how mature she actually is.
This is just my opinion, but it seems like they never really move past the Kat and adena circle. It just keep going round and round. It just never really took off, especially for Kat’s character. She never really evolved, at all
I think that was a point of their relation tough. For them it's really either getting back together and being together or never seeing each again because those two cannot be friends and as long they are in each others lives( not romantically) they will always go in circle and never move on. This is that type of relationship in which the feelings are always somewhere there even years after the initial "getting together".

Haha, I thought Adena is dating new too but the call is just her mom. I'm as jealous as Kat character on that calls. Calling someone a bad influence 😅 when you since something change from a person's perspective,..not really, it's like growing up, getting mature to balance all things and not blow all up out of proportion, then regret after.

I think the point here is that Adena can't really chill. When your visa can be taken from you at any moment you kind of have to be on guard all the time and make sure you don't "slip". So she helped Kat( who asked for Adena's help in the first place) but she couldn't really do anything more and she had a right to say no.

It is a running theme in this show. And Kat has made the decision, Adena has never made her to do anything. She had a choice and she made one. So Kat didn't lose her job because of Adena. She lost a job as a consequence of the decision she made by herself. She knew the risk but still went with it. Blaming Adena for it isn't fair. You may not like her character but at least look at things objectively

Kat was not the only impulsive one in the previous seasons Jane and Sutton were impulsive too and maybe it's a running theme in the show because the writers do not know how to create a convincing woman of color after all they were too busy turning her into this cliché promiscuous bi chick and please Adena knew damn well that Kat would never say no to her that's why she asked for her help, of course now it's easy to say that she didn't have to help if she didn't want to since Adena had nothing to lose, this isn't about me not liking Adena (i used to like her actually) , it's about me keeping it real about all the f*ckery, the back and forth and the games she's been playing with Kat since day one so don't talk to be about objectivity when you and the others are always blaming Kat for everything but not keeping the same energy for Adena.
