    Thanks for making this video dude! I’m a prospective student and I would like to know if UniVillage is within walking distance from campus. Also, how long of a drive would it be from UniVillage to campus.Cheers bro.

    • @zhiyichan8549
      @zhiyichan8549  3 роки тому +2

      Hello! Univillage is just opposite to the campus, it is only a 2 mins walk to reach the gate of campus, if you were to drive there it would really fast too. Hope this helps

    • @dwaynetang6863

      Aite thanks for the reply. Just another question. From my understanding, the on-campus J block accommodation is the premium option. What are the differences between UniVillage and J block units? Put it another way, why did you choose UniVillage over their on-campus options?

    • @zhiyichan8549
      @zhiyichan8549  3 роки тому +1

      @@dwaynetang6863 yes, j block is a more premium option on campus, but comparing to univillage is about the same (pricing). The reason why i chose univillage is mainly because i have a car and j block is famous for not enough parking, secondly, it is a long hill climb to go to class from j block ( if you are walking) side note: i have not stayed at j block before so these are from what i heard :)

    Really liked the video! I’m joining UNMC this September and I had a very specific and odd question haha. I’ve noticed that there is a limit on the AC usage for the rooms on campus (200kwh) if I’m not mistaken. Could you give me an estimate on how much it takes for 200kwh to run out? Like 8 hours a day or so?

      Hey, i think it depends on which course you are going for, more difficult course like biomed or engineering will have higher requirements, but Im not sure what are the requirements now, maybe you can check out Nottingham website to find out :)

    Would you tell a bit about staying in the campus? Its cheaper than univillage right? and what options do students have for their accomodation?

    • @zhiyichan8549
      @zhiyichan8549  3 роки тому +1

      Hello! Sure, theres I blocks and J blocks accomodations on campus, J blocks are the more expensive ones, more comfy and you have to walk up a hill to classrooms and facilities. In the other hand, I block is cheaper and relatively closer to the facilities like sports complex and cafeteria, especially Tioman Hall (one of the I blocks) univillage is almost same price as j block taking account that the air cond is pay per use and I block is cheaper compare to them, but there are a varieties of rooms in I block (you can check them out on Nottingham website) hope this helps

    • @amjadrafidi672
      @amjadrafidi672 3 роки тому

      @@zhiyichan8549 Thanks for your reply. However can you give the exact value of the rental fee? i mean, how expensive is expensive? Im going to join UNMC this September. Thus this information is vital for me i believe. Plus, do students need to attend the campus? is there any face to face class? or only online learning will be used? Thanks in advance bro

    • @zhiyichan8549
      @zhiyichan8549  3 роки тому +1

      @@amjadrafidi672 For the rental part im not sure about all the room types, but i can tell you roughly the price range (from my understanding) J blocks are around 700+, I blocks are normally 500ish or below (as there r many room types) and univillage is around 650.
      As for face to face class im not sure as im already a graduate 😅 so i wont be going back to campus anyways. But from what i know, there is so far no update on the certainty on the learning situation in UNM.
