I Broke a Disc Golf World Record

- In this video, I attempt to break the world record for the fastest 18 holes of disc golf ever - which is currently held by Joshua Biggers at a time of 14 minutes and 25 seconds. It was a great workout and also a ton of fun to get out and try to beat a set time even on a different course than him.
However, I'm not sure if @guinnessworldrecords will recognize it. Tag them in the comments please! Also, let me know down below if I should try to break or set other disc golf world records. 👀

Another cool way to standardize this format could be to have a percent increase/decrease to your time based on how many strokes over/under par you are.
And overall distance covered (or someone will just find a 'Family friendly' course with short holes).
I wouldn't use my local... Berhampore, Wellington NZ is on a hillside and has a 700+ uphill hole 7.

Watch out using the Guinness world record logo cuz apparently their flagging videos with their logo in thumbnails or the video itself.
Alright finished this vid, see my comment on ur most recent pls. I like the tournament idea for subtracting for time although as someone who shoots over even regularly but who is also fast I like the idea of just completing as fast as possible. Curious to see what I can do next time I go out.

If score doesn’t matter, just carry 2 discs and toss one while running as you approach the other disc
U should really figure out how to sign up for the Guinness world records record thing because it would be incredible to see a video on unboxing it or something similar to that

There is a man out Long Beach, CA (El Dorado DGC) & I think he could beat your time if people let him play through. He’s really good & only uses two discs!!!

Used to run XC on a disc golf course in Frankenmuth MI every year. Sucked so bad, that course was all hills and even the best runners finished 1-2 minutes slower than average.
It's cool to see a big disc golf youtuber in the dfw area.
Wouldn't you technically have to do it at the same course to beat his record? Otherwise you could pick a shorter 18 hole course and make it easy for yourself.

If you can run over a mile in the summer sun while also playing disc golf and you DON'T sweat, I really think a doctor's visit is a good idea. My brother-in-law doesn't sweat, and it can be a dangerous thing if he gets overheated.

@@jmillydg Essentially faulty sweat glands. It's a bug, not a feature, haha. Poor guy also didn't grow in all his adult teeth, so he has partial dentures at age like 35.

Just wondering, why did you cut the footage at hole 15 and say you were saving us from watching a boring hole when you could have just sped up the footage as you had been doing for the previous 14 holes? Just wondering what it helped in the editing process especially considering you said you didn’t want to cut the footage at the beginning so we know you aren’t cheating
if you look closely, it is still just the sped up footage - i just extra sped it up that time

how many miles did you end up traveling for the activity? Also how long was the course itself? i’m a cross country runner, so i could have you beat 👀

@@PWB_Wifflei have tried. 2.13 miles, 19:08, par 55, 6371 foot layout, -4(west fork disc golf course if you care to look up the course on udisc)
I would smoke you so bad in this. You're not using any of the rules to your advantage. I would have discs at every t-pad. I would drive and then running jump put with a new disc never stopping to each basket. I would literally never stop moving except to pick up new discs at each t-pad.

If you want guinness to certify a record you have to have two witnesses. It is good that you filmed your attempt. You also go to their website and fill out an application with your evidence of breaking the record. Someone from Iowa broke this record last year by playing a course in only 7 minutes
