My question is when I have done the platinum blonde and red highlights they would look great and then when I would be rinsing and washing the hair the red bled onto the platinum blonde during this process of rinsing how can I keep that from happening and from turning the blonde pink
Loretta Hooper you probably needed to formulate for underlying pigment. My guess is you need to add some blue to your color and that would have gotten you back to the red u we’re looking for.
I pull the red foils out first and rinse with cold water as much as I can before pulling out the blondes, temporary bleeding with red and blonde is almost always bound to happen but you can ensure your client that it will rinse off the blonde in a few washes.

I went to get my highlights retouched up. I was suppose to get red highlights and blonde mine lifted purple. Would you know why?

I have 3 colors. Blonde, med brown and a redish color. Having issues with root touch ups.

It all depends on what color you are now and if it is natural/previously colored. your stylist will be able to tell you
do a hair color video on yourself! and make sure to wear a cape!
