- 09/16/2023: Whit Merrifield's infield single was the difference in a 13-inning, come-from-behind victory for the Toronto Blue Jays over the Boston Red Sox! Vladimir Guerrero Jr. homered for the third straight day and Chris Bassitt was excellence over seven sharp innings.

Hard worker who gives 110 % or mireveverytime he is playing. Versatile player, great at 2 and base, left field and even pitching haha!!
He can hit, run field and steal basses, even home runs. Really what is not to love about whir Merrifield. What I really appreciate about whit is, he is a great guy and a great human being. He is always encouraging all his teamates, whether it is the new young guys or more experienced players.
He cares about this team. He Cares about sharing his experience with his team. He wants to help and do what ever he can to get it done. This is the mark og a man with integrity and great chatecter. Front office if you ate listening and smart keep him.
