@7:30 you use a Update Related Module Entry to associate a project with an account. I've been trying to do this for a few weeks with no luck. I'm actually not sure if this action in Zoho Flow does anything. I haven't been able to have any success with this. Does this action and functionality still work? If so, how? haha Thanks!
Hi Josh, Thanks for writing in. Yes this action should still work, are you sending the recordid out of Zoho via a webhook like I show.. That is probably your best bet to then upsert the record. Feel free to join our office hours and we can go through it live.
@@BluRoot does webhook make a difference? I mean, shouldn't the action in flow go through regardless of the trigger? Really appreciate your help with this! Zoho support hasn't been helpful :P
@@momentumservices The normal action in Zoho (not webhook) sends out the recordid AND the company name.. So if you then try to insert the record id back into a lookup it won't work. Whereas with a webhook you can tell the system to only send the recordid. This is something that I believe Zoho is going to fix.
Thanks for the post - very helpful I seem to be stuck with the Test the Webhook in Flow as all I get is "Payload { }" Any idea on what I am doing wrong ? thanks again
This typically happens if you did not map anything in your webhook. If you have mapped things from you webhook, then I would recommend you email support@zohoflow.com and there may be a bug occurring.
Hi Cristian, There are a few ways that you could make a quote more customize able in Zoho. Without knowing your full use case I would say: 1) You can instead of using the out of box finance modules you can instead use a subform inside of your deal that will then allow you to not only customize the fields you are quoting but also the template you send out to clients (you can send a "mail merge" template. 2) Zoho is coming out with a "CPQ" module inside of the CRM soon that will allow you to really customize your quotes. I would recommend following along on this thread here: help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/zoho-cpq they are getting close! 3) Lastly, you may want to look at something like Zoho creator if you need something ultra customizeable

The estimating system is kind of limiting in the finance module. Is there a way create a proposal in zoho more custom?

Keeps failing with error - Zoho Projects says "Input Parameter Does not Match the Pattern Specified"
