It’s great to see you dust off the channel and start posting again!
More to come! Glad you’re back watching and ready for content
Oh no! A little too much for your gentle irish tummy. Hope it doesn't turn you off burnt ends in the future.
while they look great and I hope they taste great... 'burnt ends' are actually the end pieces of a brisket that has been smoked for MANY hours (our family does for 18 hours)... the small end 'cap' is to small to properly cut and serve, so it's sliced into cube like pieces and served as a side snack or appetizer.... thus the name 'burnt end' the got the 'burnt' look of brisket bark and it's the end piece. if it's pre-cut, then it's just smoked meat.
also, if you're 'smoking' meat, you want it to be indirect smoking from the heat source, not directly over it. when it's directly over the heat source, then it's just grilling, not smoking. so here, you grilled a seasoned, cut pork belly....
But, kudos on the meat. it looks great!!
Those looked more like pork crackling (cracklins) to me.
Thank you so much for giving me constructive criticism with no sarcasm or bad intentions and also thanks for the compliments at the end. I’ll never be able to please everyone but even when i get it wrong a message like this is so appreciated thank you someone making fun of me and ridiculing me because of my mistake 😆 I hope you enjoy and give constructive criticism to my other cooking videos 🙌
Ladies and gentlemen he’s back!!!!!!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Those are pork cracklings...... Burn ends are the of the tip of the brisket.

I actually did see that recipe, I think you can make burnt ends from a few meets but the original is the brisket bits

So what time is dinner

it looks good, BUT being from Kansas City, MO, the HOME of burnt ends, I have a few issues... a true burnt end comes from the Brisket of beef... That has two parts.. the flat and the deckle or hump.. You smoke the brisket until the flat is done... You cut the Deckle (hump) off and you re-season it and put it back into the smoker for hours more until the fat melts out... This is then chunked and served as burnt ends... there are no true Pork, sausage, ham, chicken or any other meat burnt ends. Historically considered as byproducts, Arthur Bryant’s Barbecue in Kansas City popularized burnt ends, transforming them into a barbecue delicacy. They still operate today and a number of presidents have eaten there.
Awesome to see you again Paul! Its been kinda rough here but i hope all is good your way! 🙏🏻 Much love from Michigan! ☺️💜🤙🏻
Thanks! You too! I hope things get better for you 🙌
@@Irish-Jesus You're welcome! ☺️ Thank you! 🙏🏻
Looool

Awesome! Thank you! I’ll glad your liking my content, hope you enjoy the rest of my adventures 🙌😆
Come to Kansas City for some real burnt ends. I'm buying!
Sounds like a plan 😆🙌
Technically in American barbecue the burnt ends are the outside part of the meat after the long slow process of barbecuing has taken place which creates a dark exterior also called the "bark" of whatever is being barbecued. In Texas they do brisket (beef) and in the Carolinas they do "whole hog" barbecue. Usually the burnt ends come from the brisket. Some people like the interior slices and some like the exterior ones which are called the burnt ends.
Thank you for your awesome comment and information to teach me the origins of the dish I tried to make 🙌
We only got about 30 seconds of your face. Your facial expressions are half the fun. And yes, that was way too much fat to eat at once. 😂
I’ll try be in more of them, but when I’m filming I forget to film me haha
Miss seeing you in videos! Keep them coming.
More to come! Glad your back to watch them 🙌
