Cycling the Northern Tier Ep 1 - Olympic Peninsula / Olympic Discovery Trail

Though technically not a part of the northern tier, it’s hard to justify not cycling this incrediably beautiful section of Washington state via the Olympic Discovery trail when planning a cross country trip. This video documents the time Kenzie and I spent touring the peninsula and Whitney island. From here we continued east to Washington Pass along the traditional northern tier route.

Looking at doing exactly this next year. Totally agree about biking the olympic peninsula instead of starting at Anacortes. Hoping to learn alot through your trip.

Yes! Brought Kenzie’s families iPad Air on the road and have been using it to do some light editing. Hardest part is finding a place with good enough wifi to upload in a hour or two
