Heard a few disappointed comments from the Sydney show about the absence of the saxophones but i personally loved this beautiful performance! I swear you could hear the collective sighs coming from everyone in the theatre; absolute goosebumps

About the glasses. He is a musician. A good musician. Please remember the time of day they shoot this every Friday at 8:10am. They are up early when they normally are sleeping in they are bleary eyed for gods sake. People focus and latch onto tge lamest things sometimes.
Seeing this performed live in Melbourne made me realise how much better the piano version is...and the real version is amazing, so that's saying something

I always get really interested to hear him do this song live - I love this song to pieces, but it always makes me wonder why he sings the melody of the verses differently. I don't think I've ever heard him sing it the same as the recording live, it usually seems to be much higher like in this video as opposed to the lower range of the recording. I do enjoy both though, I just find it interesting
