From who is the original?
Same guy, but the original version is somewhat more lively, it doesn't have the feeling of closeness as this one does, it seems more commercial. There's another live version (w/o a crowd) that shows the real intimacy of the song.
I prefer this version a thousand times than the official one.

Also says they cannot sing in studio
With the live audience sometimes the live version is more enjoyable than the studio version. But saying someone performs better in live than studio basically means he can't perform well in studio 😂

The most amazing feeling is hearing crowds of people sing along with you. You are all on the same vibe, same emotion, singing your heart out to an amazing song knowing hundreds are singing along with you is something else.

Saw him in 2015 performing this album and he also performed "Moondance" by Van Morrison, his cover I mean. Never ever I had been almost 5 minutes with constant goosebumps. I even have goosebumps just by thinking of it. Amazing. Incredible.
Saw him as Chet in San Diego and it was amazing. I think he loves playing in his home country more cuz this was just... breathtaking
I always come back to this live version every time I do something that uncovers my naked human self. The words in my repertoire are far from adequate to describe what I feel whenever I listen to this. I can only say that I am forever grateful to have access to this masterpiece. I remember 3 years ago i was sitting alone on my bed looking at the ceiling in my dark room listen to Chet’s. Tonight im alone again and Chet come to me again. His voice makes tears come out of my eyes as i feel his magic bring the joy of loneliness deep to my core, skin, heart and bones.
