In a superficial culture that focuses on body perfection these individuals should be properly recognized for the extra challenges they have to endure despite what the masses think. Most of these individuals were born with their extraordinary differences. Our culture needs to change drastically so that those people with physical differences are openly accepted especially since most of them learn to function and support themselves despite their challenges. The drive for notoriety of some of these individuals is a way of coping and none of us are above striving for such if given the opportunity. We are all different, accept it. I probably could be in one for having a hole in the top of my head that from severe hardships and anxiety I have no skull in approximately a 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch spot in the middle of a half dollar ulcerated wound in which I picked threw to the membrane before my brain. I'm waiting on plastic surgery as there is only 1cm between the membrane in the 1/2inch. By 1/4 inch hole where you can clearly see the membrane that I could pierce my brain if Im not careful. Still waiting on medicaid to approve the procedure to fill it so I don't walk around unprotected. Medicaid wanted to wait to see if it could close up on its own.
