Beautiful video, I am in second year of Mechanical engineering and I've been struggling with fully understanding how the chain rule worked since high school (although i knew how to get answers just be differentiating the outside x the differentiating the inside). But this video helped me fully understand why and how that worked, since I never substituted u independently before this video. Thanks again.
sir thank you so much for this I absolutely understand the rule because of you, unlike my professor, you explained what chain rule is and what it's for and I believe that's how i get to understand this rule so much easier, thank you so much!!!❤
Guyy thank you soo much this has really helped. I never understood when our fmaths teacher was teaching just as if he was speaking another language😅 but you have intepreted that language. Thanks a lot

@@jonahemmanuelofficial it’s the way you are writing your words. I’m assuming you were taught to write this way, but maybe it’s not referred to as cursive to you. In the US when you are taught to write in two ways… you either write in print or cursive.
technically y=x² can still have the chain rule applied to it it's just that u here is x², and so is u¹, so deriving it would be 1×u⁰=1, leaving us with just 1× du/dx which is 2x

Thank you for this amazing job you're doing. I really can't thank you enough. A quick question sir, while you were using this method, did we automatically forget the square on the (6+×) ^2? So does that mean it's the same way we'll treat all other likely questions?

dy/dx x²=2x
here x =6+x

dy/DX x²=2x
=2(6+x)
