    wow, that brought back so many memories. My father, older brother and I built one of these about nine or ten years ago. you should build a separate support just for the nose because what happened to us was after a few weeks on display the nose, due to it's weight, began to droop. It bent so much that we eventually had to take it down or else it would have fallen. thanks for bringing back all the awesome memories.

    I think it's amazing how simple yet complicated this build seems, I tried building with online instructions and my own parts, didn't ake it far, I ran out of technic!

    I hope they release a new version with the superior bricks they have today, less studs more smooth pieces.

    Ah good call! It was drooping side to side as I built one half at a time, you can see the hammer in the video I used for balance. Definitely will consider another support, maybe coming from the docking bay below! Thanks!

    Nice Video - did you use one single order via Bricklink or where did you get the parts from?

      A seller was selling the entire set! He just didn't have the box anymore.

    Is there an interior?

    • @theeverydaychallenge
      @theeverydaychallenge  8 років тому

      No interior, the newer model is smaller and has a bit of a command deck interior for minifigs.

      I didn't work on it everyday, maybe about 5 months. I worked on it an hour a week when I had some free time!

      +The Everyday Challenge I'd expect that sort of time span for a 1/32 model kit, not a lego kit!

      +Cybermat47 Me too! I really just picked away at it here and there, made for a more enjoyable build I think!

    • @theeverydaychallenge
      @theeverydaychallenge  8 років тому +1

      Lol, not my greatest musical track. Sorry, Disney copyright rules with an iron fist here on UA-cam, had to try for my own theme.
