Harleys are great, Kawasakis are awesome, Ducatis are amazing...but nothing beats a classic British motorcycle. Thanks for sharing. From Reggio Calabria, Italia.
That’s the way I remember them, pieces falling off or being stranded. Being alone 50 miles in the woods is a bad feeling, especially walking for a couple of days out. Here your called a ridge runner ! Yep it has happened to anyone seriously going to the woods riding alone. Have Fun it’s part of the adventure !
Gawd damn what a great sounding & lookin old Triumph, looks like you were on one of the old “fire roads” maybe?…anyhow, what a great ride through a beautiful area, also I dig the old Champion sticker, what a classic!
Back in the day, I had one of these pass me doing about 80. Guess he didn't know the course turned left in front of a big pile of dirt. Triumphs can fly.🤣
I've watched a couple of your bike and beer episodes and enjoyed them over the last couple of weeks. UA-cam recommended this and I really liked this riding video so I've given you a like and a subscribe. Happy New Year.
Today I too took a ride with my 1991 yamaha..then the video came out and I pushed my engine up and down the countryside.. Too bad I didn't have a beer to drink.. Happy new year friend keep doing us dreaming with your old bike!
Always different ridding in the winter than the summer, shame about the bash plate coming off, but easy fix. great ride. all the best for the new year. KIWI
She sounds awsome. Lost my skid plate on the freeway once, and did not notice until I was hundreds of kilometres away. Went back and found it a few weeks later.
Fantastic video! It’s great to see a video of just riding and the sound of the bike. You’ve got some great trails there and I’ve got serious bike jealously. A good tip for when you get caught out with that sun setting real quick is to keep a decent bicycle light in the backpack. That way you can clip it on when you need to and it’ll probably be brighter than the original ‘57 headlamp 👍🏼
Glad you’re digging the videos! Thanks for watching. This tank is from a duplex frame pre-unit, so 1960-62. I made some front brackets for it and welded some tabs to the rear of the tank. It’s been working really well and has taken a lot of abuse.
@@wheelhousegarage thanks taken ages but did manage to find the tank and worked it out last night looks so right on the bike 👍 maybe you may take a look at my UA-cam channel Shed Hot Customs TV just finishing a 1938 Speed Twin rebuild lots of bike content - just starting out so need all the help I can get subscriber wise 🙏
Pre unit generator case, 9 stud top end, monoblock - it doesn't get any better. Was it a T110 to start with ? Happy New Year, your weather sucks, it's stinking hot here.
Love this bike! Motor is a factory TR6, Frame is from a '59 with a really cool hoop welded back in day to run a modified air filter. There's a video from last July where I went through all the details on this build if you want to check it out👍
@@savage22bolt32 Happy New Year. In the 70s I was not born, but I currently enjoy a bultaco lobito 175cc, a bultaco alpina 350cc, and an ossa pioneer 250cc. Great machines that give great moments. You can see them on my channel.
@@A_A_moto subbed to A&A and Orange Ossa Channel too. I live in New England, northeast USA. Today we had a cool, brisk refreshing ride. Currently on CRF250L & my daughter has an XT250. As we were riding a dirt road we bumped in to my buddy. He was riding a 1974 Alpina, & has 9 more at home, various years. I love the Spanish 2 strokes. A buddy of mine owned the Vintage Trail Bike Museum in Massachusetts. Sadly, he passed away in 2022 & everything was auctioned off. Kaplan Cycles bought a few if them & you can see them on Kaplans channel. Best to you in '23!
Cannot do anything like this here in Naziville UK, I live in Wales and at least we ain't as overpopulated as England, you can't swing the proverbial cat without hitting a Mr Angry or a Karen in England as there is so many of that type on this shity little island of ours!
This is awesome. There's nothing quite like an old Triumph. Beasts! 🇬🇧
They're the best!
That's my perfect day right there, and good on ya for doing what you're supposed to do with a bike like that👍
Thank you so much. It gives me great joy to put these bikes out on the dirt and twist that throttle!

I have one original for pre-unit triumphs. If you're interested, just email me at bill@wheelhousegarage.co

Hi mate; very nice bike and edition. I have three and currently rebuilding one so I know the feeling
Right on! Glad they are getting built👍👍
tou were flying on that old bike, i thought it was a video of Dick Burleson for a second
I'm blushing! Thanks for watching!
Don't you mean Bill Baird? He was a multi time AMA National Enduro Champion (prior to Burleson), and he actually rode a Triumph!
Cool Wild-Trip 😅 👍
Really cool Channel subscribed :)
Glad your here!

Phew! That's so awesome that you found it!
Gettin' your Bud Ekins on in the Sierras. : ) How long were you out there? It was getting a bit sketchy at the end with the sun setting.
Thanks for watching! I was only out riding for about 3 hours but got a late start (as usual 😁)
that was dope

First vid of 2023!
Yeehaw!
Old bikes need locktite
How's the engine vibration?
Well, I saw that skid plate get dropped in the intro, so I guess bolts are loosening. I've lost a few bolts myself.
6T, TR6 or T110?
TR6👍
Awesome bike and riding skill. Exhaust too loud though especially for woods.
Thank you so much! I've had a cool muffler idea for a while that I need to make. Boy do I love that straight pipe sound though😆
Xhaust JUST the right amount of loud, IMHO. Low and throaty. If they could can it, I'd eat it. Yum.

Can you imagine trying to do this in the F****** UK?
Yeah, the Plods would be knocking on your door soon as you got back home. When you get burgled, however, they're nowhere to be seen.
Don't let the Forest Service catch you up here in the Sierra without spark arrestors!
You're 100% right! I am working on something for it this week 👍
