    Kastl is so good with making happy accidents. I have been achieving great self-playing patches without even thinking what I'm doing at all. It's amazing how much of a punch this little guy packs. HOWEVER, you video is so good at explaining it, thanks so much! I definitely picked up a trick or two from you just now. Please keep posting, I've already subscribed :3

    It is so smol (as the young whippersnappers say). I need one (or two acctually, there are two Bastl Kastles and I need them both because of "gotta catch 'em all"syndrome.

    Thanks so much, I just got my hands on the Kastle and my first attempt at a sound,
    Was your begginer friendly UA-cam.
    I hope you do more demos and I'm very thankful!

    Ah this is great! Thanks for the video! Always looking for patches that are easy to remember and recreate on the kastle!

    Great. Been putting mine through big sky and FX and sounds proper drone and weird. Played at open mike and no one believed that something that small was so powerful. Thanks

    This is wonderful, I cant wait to use this idea with my self playing systems patched into the I/O of the Kastle. I love ridiculously abstract patches and now I have a new toy in my mind.

    Thank you for explaining this clearly, I was wondering how to make a Krell patch stick to a sort-of scale, thanks!

    Great explanation! It's really hard to understand the complexity of the kastle but it was nice and easy. I just have a strange problem and I don't know if my kastle is faulty or if it is normal, but yours doesn't do it: As soon as I connect the Rate Mod and Stepped, the kick drum timing is off and it gets slower and faster at different parts of the modulation and doesn't stay the same tempo like yours does. Any idea what I did wrong?

    • @Symphoneers
      @Symphoneers  6 років тому +4

      Your rate mod might just be set a bit higher? I think the potentiometers are logarithmic, which makes small differences in settings more noticeable the higher you go. There is actually a bit of tempo variance in mine, it's just not super noticeable because I'm talking over things. The Kastle's a curious beasty too - other things can effect the "tempo" because they effect how quickly the oscillators cycle through things.
      And I'm glad everyone's liking the video! I enjoyed making it, so I actually bought a few small things to help speed up video production & improve the quality a bit. I'll be transitioning the channel from "glorified soundcloud" into something more consistently like this video over the next few weeks, which should be fun.
