I used to go first strike in quite a few games, but I've swapped over to Sorcery primary with Inspiration secondary for magical boots/futures market.
You should give it a try sometime. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it yet, but my initial reaction is very positive. I loved first strike, but one thing I hated was it felt like I was giving up quite a bit of that early-game oppression and since games can be so early-focused that can be a bit rough. So I decided to try the other 'free gold' aspects of the inspiration tree, while still still keeping the lane dominant aspects of sorcery. It works out pretty nice because I still have an accelerated mythic, but with a lot of that early game potency.

this makes no sense. you should know if you want to win early or have the late game insurance on draft screen
@@felipdn3329 It's not as binary as that. Even if you think a game might go a bit later that doesn't mean that you necessarily want to sacrifice early game laning power.
If anything, the decision to go comet or not is more dependent upon how much you think you'll be able to accomplish in lane, not how long you think the game will go.
Even if the game goes 40 minutes if you had a really strong lane you can put them behind and then use that advantage to keep them behind for most of the game time.
Can you play a game of vel’koz with electrocute cheap shot eyeball ultimate hunter mana flow and gather storm. I’d like to see how you play that setup. It gives vel massive burst along with his true damage burst it can put someone to half early or outright one shot.
