Mr. Carter,around the time you published this video we bought 2 P1’s-subwoofer-sound bar and after that the sonos one as soon as it was available,sound bar and TV are direct connect. I built a rectangular wooden platform for our P1’s on the wall and it’s a beautiful piece of furniture in our living room. Can’t wait to build our cinema room. Great accurate review. It’s not expensive if you enjoy it like we’ve been,it is 100% worth it...Thank you!!

These are absolutely worth the money. I've been rocking these in 2 different rooms at my house: one in garage and another in the Master Bedroom. Even though 2 SONOS speakers are connected to different nodes on my Eero WiFi network, they can be managed from the mobile app without any extra effort. Great review, Floss!

Hey Floss, can you use two of the sonos 1 to connect to the bluetooth from a smart tv. I can hookup a single Bose speaker to it but does the Sonos do the left and right channels themselves or do they both have to be connected to the tv's bluetooth. Thanks

Always had a great experience with Sonos options. For a long time they seemed to be the party to go for if you wnted wireless speakers. Especially since they took out the need for the bridge a couple of years ago. The only problem I had was that you are tied to the Sonos ecosystem and can't connect anything else. Also, I returned the Play 5's I combined with the Playbar and placed the playbar in my bedroom and switched to a wired option in my living room since there's simply no way to get DTS working on the Sonos. As a music solution, these are great though.
If you get the chance, could you please test the Sony SRS-ZR5's As well? They seem like a good competitor to the Sonos Play 1's and unlike Sonos, they support more than just the brand's proprietary wireless protocol, like DLNA, Chromecast Audio, Airplay.

Love Play 1. Sonos are high quality with great support. Very clean sound, and they get better as they are broken in. The new sound optimization feature works consistently well. I prefer the P1 in stereo to the Play 5. Moisture resistant makes them perfect for bathroom, and covered outside.

The pitty is that they took away that jack port for aux like they had before on play5 first edition...i wanted to plug a bluetooth adapter on both of them and a jbl subwofer...so i can use them with my existing sound bar wich is not from Sonos...and my subwofer...but if you have the full set it will be kind of expensive but it worths all the money as you sayd ;) Maybe i will get those and the set when they get cheapper ;)

What up doe bro Flossy.. Happy new year brother. I see your audio game is on beast mode lately you keep dropping them nice speakers. I just copped the Master and Dynamic MW60 headphones in the brown leather trim and let me tell you bro. Never in my life did I get compliments for any headphones I ever bought or had but these ones lol it got to the point to where it was annoying because almost every single person i know or barely know asked me about them when they saw them and told me how sick they look. They look and feel luxurious as fuck and I know you into that nice leather on your tech and accessories. Not only that but they have aptx HD unlike the shitty overpriced Beats someone gave me for Christmas. So paired with the V20, the sound is on another level even on Bluetooth. When you plug them in and that V20 quad DAC kicks in, they're a major major go lol. If you didn't already get those bro please grab them in the brown leather especially and make one of your dope reviews about them. Knowing you, you'll probably cop every single color they make lol the range on them is INSANE too bro. I'm talking at least 60 to 80 feet bro versus the usual 30 on most headphones.

Thanks for reviewing the 2 systems bose and sonos. i'm trying to fill a room wireless it eliminate ugly wires from my old 7.1 surround system. I ended up buying the bose bar and woofer cause its slimmer and i thought the sound was better in the store,, But i still feel the sound is lacking behind me. And i see many reviews that the rear bose speakers are poor. Im kinda torn.. If i should return it. and Should i wait around for bose to come out with better rear speakers or wait for the new sonos sound bar that is coming out with a new slimmer looking bar in april. Will do a review on this one?? Which system did you stick with?

I bought a dedicated amp and Dynaudio Emit M10's they sound a m a z i n g... however I paid double the price of the play one's and to be honest I am not hearing the value for money from the Dyn's Play 1's have to be the best value I have spent on speakers ever!

now that you can change the volume on the soundtouch app on the virtually invisible bose are they still as low? the update came out this month which allows you to change the volume on the app
