where are you located in the world? since the inflatable tube is from russia, I don't think the can ship to Canada, where I am. any chance I might be able to order through you?
@@thedaveko I am in the Czech Republic, I was lucky enough to have a friend whose boss from work, who has lived here for 30 years, has parents in Russia and visits them regularly, so he brought it to me. I really don't know when he will go there again.
@@thedaveko It must be everywhere in the world. I just thought of buying a silicone tube with a diameter of 2.5 cm and a wall thickness of 2-3 mm and somehow sealing it on one side and then just pressure tubes with a valve to close and you're done. It can be made but it will cost more money than buying from Russia.
There must be a industrial use for something like this. It would just be a matter of finding that industry. So the tube is made of silicone and about 2-3 mm thick? I wonder if something like a bike inner tube would work. If I was able to seal the tube on one end and also glue and seal the pump adapter screw part to the other end? Maybe there would be enough pressure to press the carbon fiber against the inside of the stick.
@@thedaveko Trust me I've tried everything from inflatable balloons, condoms and a bicycle tube, but the easiest way is really a silicone tube which is flexible and durable. In the end I decided to buy this it was cheaper than inventing alternative methods. It cost me $60 and I have it for at least 50 hockey stick repairs or until the tube bursts

@VostrelJan I see. There must be something like this in North America. I just don't know what this would be called here.
