I watch both chanels so this is so cool.
You should make a resin reject mold. A huge mold that whenever there is extra resin from a pour it just gets poured in there. No matter what you did with the resin. Over time it will be filled and cured and you can demold it in a video to see how it turned out.

Interesting that y'all chose Brucie out of all the Holo Taco shades in Safiya's collab bc some customers noticed it reacts slightly to magnets (even though it's not a magnetic polish) and I wonder if that affected the mixing using the magnet blender 🤔

I can't believe this beyond perfect collab happened! When I saw the thumbnail I had to do a double take, like: Ooouuu! A New E&K video...wait... a new Safiya video!..... WAIT -- it's both!!! *HEAD EXPLODES* 🤯
A lot of people say this about Saf's videos, but this really does have late night sleepover and they decided to make potions with liquids around the house energy!
I'm surprised you guys haven't tried this before now. I have access to make up for free every once and a while and will grab it to use in epoxy since it can work very well. just have to avoid anything with a water base or anything too liquidy so you don't weaken the epoxy. You can mix in water based colors into epoxy and still have it cure though. It just tends to end up softer than that same epoxy would without it. The more you add the softer it gets
Peter Brown has a whole series of trying random weird things to colour epoxy.
One of my main source of colour and glitter when I started using resin was actually powder eyeshadows xD.

I love this collab I'm new to this channel but have followed Safiya for years!! The main difference in cosmetic glitter and craft glitter is that cosmetic glitter is made from a non toxic plastic (PET) that doesn't scrach or irritate the eye and craft can contain glass and metal but not all cosmetic glitter is made the same so be safe if you're buying for your face but it should be fine to use any glitter in resin

It's amazing how different communities exist. I'd never heard of Safiya before today.
So ik technically Safiya has almost 10 M and they’re sitting at around 1.5 M on this channel but this came off back handed at first. I am unsure why it came across that way and know it’s genuine excitement at their collab.

The collab ‘we’ (as in me) never knew we needed:
I used eyeshadow and loose face powder for colouring resin - it always cured it MEGA FAST, as in 3x faster than it usually took. Turmeric also makes for a great colorant, it's gives a vibrant red shade.
Y'all's energy seems to mesh so well!!!! This collab was so much fun, I can't wait to watch Safiya's video, and if y'all had as much fun making this as I had watching, I desperately hope y'all do more collabs in the future! It always makes me so happy when youtubers I watch reference each other in their videos, and getting to see a collab with some of my favorite creators has been amazing! Not as horrible as it is for him, but you know what I mean. Back and joint pain and injuries are awful, and more common than people realize. He’s got a lot of people rooting for him 💕

The elf foundation is actually silicone-based! All foundations have water in them, but if silicone (usually dimethicone) is also high on the ingredient list, then it's considered silicone-based. If it doesn't have silicone listed or if it is very low on the ingredient list, then it can be considered water-based (or oil-based, depending on the formulation). Maybe it didn't negatively impact the resin because of the stabilizers and emulsifiers in the foundation?

I use eyeshadow in resin necklaces and it works better if you mix it with just a little resin first to make sure to get out all the lumps. If it still gets too transparent, I can add some black resin on the back as a second layer after the first one had cured. That works great!
