Just hold the home button until light starts blinking then go to your Bluetooth setting and there the option will come to connect to controller

Bro BGMI dont support external controllers so you cant play it with controllers. But i think there are some third party apps available on android through which you can play bgmi with controllers. If you want you can try them but i wont recommend doing it.
