What’s the point of curling hair and then brushing the curls out

Curling gives the structure, brushing gives the finishing. If you only curl it looks like a first communion girl hairstyle. I recommend to curl, use a texture spray or hairspray, leave till fully cooled down and brush with fingers, wide tooth comb or just a brush, depending on the result you want. Trust me - looks much more put together and classy, then curling and doing nothing :)
