Another, earlier, song of Tom's you will thoroughly be impressed by and enjoy is 'I'm Never Gonna Fall In Love Again'

Thank you, Stan. Such sincere and appreciative comments about one of the greats. Keep exploring Tom's gifts... they go on and on. He never disappoints. His voice is magnificent. His timing is spot on and the way he expresses the feeling, the emotion, of a song is uncanny. He not only shows he is a consummate professional, but that he loves music of all kinds and truly loves his audience, giving his all!
Suggestions: I love the soft jazz in Tom's wistful performance of "Autumn Leaves" (on French TV about 1965). In his early appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show... singing "Whatcha Gonna Do When Your Baby Leaves You"... his swag and smooth moves are clearly evident! Don't let Tom's full afro and red velvet suit in this 70's performance distract you from his amazing rendition of Paul Anka's song "Papa," which was captured for a small studio audience on Italian TV. Playing to a beautiful backup singer, Tom delivers Van Morrison's "Carrying A Torch" with Van looking on (clearly pleased), and Van on guitar as part of the musicians accompanying the 50-year-old Tom. Don't miss John Farnham and Tom together either... as they rock out to AC/DC's "It's A Long Way To The Top [If You Want To Rock And Roll]" in their sixties. And Tom in his seventies doing the perfectly apt cover of Leonard Cohen's "Tower Of Song." Then back to one of my favorite performances by Tom Jones... from 1970 on his This Is Tom Jones tv show... his hit "I Who Have Nothing." The pinnacle of his power ballads, IMO.
So much Tom to enjoy... I can never get enough! Treat your audience with more TJ whenever you have time. 😉
Whether it's one of your Tom Jones reactions or not, I just LOVE your reactions, Stan... I really do. 🔥♥️🎉👍

The narrator is headed to his execution, probably from killing Delilah.

Such a sad song about a convict's last daydreams before his death. I was 10 years old when I started watching Jones' weekly tv show and have loved his vocals since then. Please react to some of his 1980's through 2000's songs like "Sexbomb", "You Can Leave Your Hat On" and especially "Kiss" which I think is superior to he Prince original.

In case you don't get what the song is about, hes on death row, waiting to be executed for killing his girlfriend "Delilah", thats another brilliant one by the one, the only Sir Tom Jones

I appreciate your reaction, but you said nothing about what the song was about.
Elvis was going across the country driving a bus when he heard the song. He told a friend and DJ George Klein, I believe it was, to play that song again. This was at the time of pay phones. All along the trip he or one of his guys would put quarters (or dimes) in and make the same request over and over. That's the first time he ever heard of Tom Jones.
