just question im wondering when rend is worth using, i am barely using only if i have like 2 seconds to spare and im pumping knowing im going to get rage back
The only time you can use rend is right after you use Bloodthirst. But in order to use Rend properly there's other things that need to happen. And 1 thing to know is even if you're 100 rage its still worth to switch to battle stance to cast a rend in these scenarios. 1. There's only 1 target in your range. 2. The target is above 20% hp (Not in execute phase). 3. The target will live more than 21 seconds. 2. Whirlwind is still on cooldown for another 1.5 seconds. 5. You have no active Slam procs. 6. You just used Bloodthirst. (or bloodthirst won't be up within 1.5 seconds )

Thats an excellent question about lust. I would think its worth to rend during lust after your Troll racial ends otherwise might end up wasting slam procs. And on a rare occasion I do prerecklessness. But I stopped cause if you get unlucky you can get get threat and die the first couple seconds lol.
Dude, you play really well, could you make some guides for us? I have some doubts, like when is the best time to use REND, or the best way to do PARSE with warrior, I believe that many others have this doubt, at least I never managed to find a warrior explaining this.
So using a rend is a little trickly doing it right there's many things lol. So first of all only rend when boss is above 20% hp, so not execute phase. Only rend if WW, Bloodthirst are on cooldown and no slam procs are up. Also only rend if Bloodthirst, WW wont be up for atleast 1.5 seconds. In other words don't GCD delay BT/WW by casting Rend. And one thing to know is you don't want to override Rend, let it expire. Once you get that mastered work on rending while keeping Heroic Strike queued for your offhand swings while switching stances. The only real time you can really use Rend is right after a Bloodthirst with everything else I just mentioned.

It's now phase 4 and I still feel like I'm getting rage-starved all the time. Somehow I'm literally 12% less crit than the other warrior in my guild (then again he has 200 ilvl over me, but still.) He's also hitting bloodthirsts that are give or take 1-2k higher on average than me. Is this just all RNG at this point? Maybe I'm hard spamming HS too much given I don't have over 60% crit now? I have it bound to mousewheel scroll and I just 100% spam that fucker the entire time. Should I back it off just a bit and be a little more nuanced with it? In a 9/12 25H guild and I need to step my game up to stay off the bench lol
Better than my guild atm. The best way to get the most rage is to have heroic strike or cleave in queue for off hand swings so that your auto attacks cant miss. If your mainhand is about to swing and you only have 25 rage or less cancel the queue, but queue it back up for offhand swings
Do you mean he has over 200 gear score over you? On a lot of my alts I always beat people in raid way more geared than me. Like my Combat rogue was 5200gs and I would beat this 5800 one every pull
@@zayikgaming604 I mean the guy replied, what does he expect though, if you say you can beat 5800gs with 5200gs, then someone with 4600gs could also beat you with 5200gs. But most of the time for average players with the same class, higher gs does mean higher performance

I've already noticed smoother rage generation even when spamming mousewheel scroll queue. Will put to test in the next round of lockouts. I do understand higher GS doesn't always mean better performance, but there are many instances when comparing logs with the higher GS warrior in my guild that our APM are the same and sometimes I'm even getting more HS and BT off than him. In those cases I just hit less hard than him haha.
If you have low armor pen like that you'll wanna use Mjolnir Runestone really easy to get from farming Gamma Dungeons. You will want 649 Armor pen from gear and then when Runestone procs (751 ArP) you'll be at armor pen cap for 10 seconds. 751 + 649 = 1,400 armor pen cap. Don't go over 649 armor pen with gems otherwise it will be a dps loss. I highly recommend you use wowsim website to figure out what works best for your gear. You possibly may just want to gem strength, and getting yellow socket bonuses that give 4 strength or 4 agility by gemming 10str, 10 crit in yellows. It all depends how much character power you have. What gearscore are you?

From what I can tell, a few small (prioing slam over WW BT and prioing WW over BT) screwups in your rotation yet you get top 6. Goes to show gear is king. You were probably geared to the teeth for this yeah??
I think this was week 1 or 2 of ICC. I was pretty much full bis from TotC besides 252 off hand. I think I was 5850 or 5900 gs in this video. In a full 3 minute fight prioritizing Slam over WW is only like a 40 dps loss. And even less making a few rotational mistakes lol. And WW > BT is better. My guild is not amazing unfortunately and is casual. Also gear is NOT king, your raid roster of classes/players is. You can be the best warrior in the world and be pretty geared but it doesn't matter if your guild is killing bosses way slower than the average top guilds

@@voodoohex72 According to sims. I spent a couple hours with one of the wowsim developers setting up APL rotations and WW > BT came out to be more dps, not by much though. Were talking like 15 dps lol. And that's over a 3 minute fight. So it hardly matters, what matters more is not missing out on globals in a fight
@@voodoohex72I’d argue raid is king and gear is queen. You can have an undergeared top guild wildly outperform an overgeared average guild. Maybe not entirely through dps, but definitely in clearing the content
3 unholy, 1 blood dps and 1 blood tank, not too unusual. I wish I could have more lol. I'd say it counts the real degenerates run 10+ unholy dks. Can't compete with that literally. But that's the top 0.5 you have to worry about. I couldn't get any higher than 99.6 overall parse in TotC due to Chinese guilds with 12+ unholy dks.
