Me too. Very good movie. Very sad and tragic. Hillary Swank did an excellent performance as Teena Brandon/Brandon Teena. She deserved her Oscar. The whole cast was excellent. A very unfortunate way to earn it, I'm sure.
@@LittleLulubee We might have watched the same thing. I saw something that came out sometime after the movie on one of the news shows that do stories on it. It might have been when the guys were up for parole, or that might have been another story. Teena Branda was a very attractive girl. Very pretty. But I could see the masculinity in her. There is a reason and no, I am not transgender, just gay. But as Branda Teena, HE was extremely handsome. And I could see in his attitude, posture, etc., he was comfortable with who he was. Scared yes, and for good reasons, but comfortable with who he was. I just remember watching HIM and thinking how good looking he was. And he seemed nice, though young and unexperienced in his new life, which led to his death. He made bad choices. I did too. We all do. But his choices didn't deserve his vile treatment and ultimate violent death from ignorance and hate. Thanks for chatting with me. Wishing you Peace and stay safe!🙂

The drummer on this song was Dan Hicks. I suggest checking out Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks. Try the song “Where’s The Money?” He and many of the people floating around him at that time were great musicians

Think Barry Melton visited him in the hospital shortly before he passed
The most Beautiful song on this album . This song i *Mostly Like* I've been listening to her many times !
Amazing voices in background song !
Tragic this song should have soared
Playin' this back-to-back with Buffy St. Marie's original...
Killer guitar break!
Yes. Nailed that Keith Richards early Stones echo drenched guitar tone I thought.
I just read this about Dan Hicks. Another music pioneer gone. R.I.P. Dan! You'll be missed.
And now, at this writing, Mike Wilhelm hangs by the thinnest of threads.
Another gem somehow overlooked, Charlatans did this song real justice, as did Quicksilver Messenger.
Super song, so inspired by the early psychedelic magic with the cowboy persona and so many others.
