I don’t even miss the game itself. I miss when me and my brother would beg our mom once a week to go to Walmart to buy 2 sky landers that we didn’t have in our collection
the beginning starting story is so relatable, always staring at the demo, going to friends etc. OMG i love the musiccc. i have been started playing skylanders lately again, and bought the FULL spyro collection with all expansions and skylanders and re explored again, it was amaaaaazzzzinggg.
I got back into Skylanders earlier this year, and its so heartwarming to see one of my favorite childhood franchises returning to the public eye. The community is the sweetest fanbase I’ve seen in actual years!❤
My obsession for this franchise was actually from Skylander Boy and Girl’s Jade Fire Kraken Skylanders hunting video, which is what made me wonder what it was, and I was immediately hooked, now look at me, a kid with absolutely no life and one who collects tons of Skylanders just for the hell of it
I’m getting very impressed more people are making more videos about skylanders, giants, swap force, trap team, and superchargers are my fav skylanders games

Technically Warnado did originate from Spyro's Adventure, so it still kinda counts, then again, and they don't have a wow pow or the ability to change paths.
ive been playing skylanders since 2016 with my bestfriend when my dad introduced it to me. At first we started with a bunch of basic skylanders, the giants game, all that but after a few months we got so invested in skylandders.. if you saw my basement you would be CONCERNED how much skylanders is down there. Weve been playing since my dad showed it to us and are still obsessed to this day.
My sisters and I played skylanders since we were 6 years old. We would role play the characters at night with different adventures and stories. The role play is on hiatus at the moment because of a series of unfortunate events. Including the loss of hope in the games itself. Hopefully we can create more stories with each other and bounce back. Though we don’t think there will be a new game.
My fondest memory of skylanders is playing giants at my friend's house every saturday on a tiny television whilst sitting on the top of a bunk bed. Getting the game myself for my birthday in 2013 is a close second, though.
I was so into sky landers as a kid the first game I got was swap team on wii after begging for a sky lander game for years you don’t know how many hours I sunk into that game I didn’t have enough money to buy too many sky landers but the ones I had I maxed out so quickly I beat that game so many times and had so much fun playing that game I’m glad to see it coming back! My literal childhood!
Here's what's gonna hurt your amiibo addiction a bit more regarding the Bowser and Donkey Kong figures. They act as both Skylanders as well as Amiibo, they have a slider on the bottom that switches which one you want to use it as.
It's very hard for me to forget the Skylanders serie for several reason: I'm one of those who still have the toys version of Ro-Bow, Wild Storm and Starcast sinc they are so rare to get and that my friend and me work together for bring back the Skylanders serie at life again but as an SFM Model Pack for let everyone to create their own Skylanders 3D animations so I will not be lonely for create my own Skylanders 3D animations on my channel. Plus it's not any models exported since it's the main games models exported in HD (Plus my friend who cheating by use their Imaginators models but use their Trap Team textures since the texture of the Skylanders characters in Trap Team have more size than Imaginators so they are in better quality) and not the low poly models from Ring of Heroes so, for now and officially, Ro-Bow, Wild Storm, Starcast, Eye-Brawl, Small-Eye, Dive-Clops, Magna Charge, Prism Break, Blast Zone, Snap Shot, Jet-Vac, Pet-Vac, Tae Kwon Crow, Cross Crow and Cuckko Clocker are done with somes bonus fan made skin for them like Ro-Bow with his Imaginators HD model design but with his red hood from his awakening form from Ring of Heroes and, for now, Krypt King is the next with his unused Chop Chop Daddy design from Skylanders Giants restored, include open chest and the red hair.
I only have Giants, and the only Giant I have is Tree Rex (yes it's like he said: he's everywhere) alongside my other 7/8 skylanders so I missed out on a lot after that. Yet I still enjoy playing till this day because I've gotten so attached to them. But the vastness of the Skylands Universe is what really gets me into it. Lots of imagination for people to create their own creative stories within that universe - at least to me, I actually do want to. There's just so many different realms for the different elements that you could come up with something extremely unorthodox and it'll still make sense (seeing how something like Wilikin Village exists). You could make your own realm for your story because who knows it might actually exist in the Skylands? There's also just so many assets available for the persons imagination to go - something about the giants? The swap force? Traps? Vehicles? It's all there for the person to imagine. I could let my creative and imaginative mind loose to make up my own story within that universe, it was the one thing that fueled my (fan)artist mind back then!
Sky landers was my first video game it taught me the language of games and I remember having way too many of these. When the swap game came out I played it for hundreds of hours trying every combination. The day when my dad sold all of my figures I cried for 4 days straight
I actually found my old collection a few days ago, i instantly got hit with nostalgia and i just started up superchargers and giants and played through both without hesitation, it's just amazing.
I got the first game and absolutely loved it. Played the second game and finished it in a day. I regret that now, lol. Trap team was the thurd game i played and i didn't really get into that one. But swap force and imaginators were the kast type of games that just made me go meh. I never finished them. I think i started to get overwhelmed with how much skylanders you need to buy. Like the first two games you could just buy a few and finish the game with that. There was so much more to do eoth the other ones and as a kid, i didn't want to keep asking my parents to keep buying more. But i still love skylanders and it'll always have a special place in my heart.
I didn’t start playing these games until well after the toys to life craze was over. I went in fully loaded, my credit card bills were crazy for months as I collected as many figures as I could (I have all the core, Dark, Lightcore and Legendary figures and many of the variants and chase figures to show for it). Luckily for me, I got the Switch version of Imaginators before the price skyrocketed…and even managed to get Wild Storm and Ro-Bow for Imaginators. I played the games out of sequence (Spyro’s Adventure, Giants, SuperChargers, Imaginators were played back in 2019, I just played Swap Force a few weeks ago, and I’ll be wrapping up Trap Team as soon as I can beat Kaos on Nightmare mode) and can honestly say I enjoyed Trap Team and Imaginators the most…Swap Force is right up there too. I think my only issue with SSA and SG was not being able to jump felt weird…and even with that limitation, I still enjoyed playing them. I do like the figures/vehicles from SuperChargers but I remember the final Nightmare battle our king-size bed was covered with ‘resting’ Skylanders (I’m not a very good gamer and typically play on Easy or Medium). I wish you could skip more of the dialog and cut scenes, especially on second (or third or fourth, etc) play throughs. I can’t imagine how much money I have spent nor how much time I’ve spent playing these games…love them.
I remember when my best friend said to me in 2011 "have you heard of the new game skylanders spyros adventure. You buy toys that come into the game" these amazing words drained my moms bank card
i love skylanders and i loved seeing this amazingly edited and very fun video about them, thanks! btw the switch version of imaginators is expensive bc it didnt release in october 2016 like the og version, it released when the switch launched back in 2017. So basically they launched a toys to life game when the genre was pretty much dead, causing it to sell very few copies so it didn't really get restocked that much. (so few copies of the game --> game is expensive)
The little bit about never owning Spyro's Adventure but having played the whole thing in your friend's basement; literally my SSA experience. It got to the point where I wanted to play it even when he didn't. I technically did end up owning it for the entirety of like, 10 minutes when I got it for my birthday, but the portal was defective, and when we went to return it and get a replacement, we ended up coming home with Giants instead when I saw Swarm on the shelf. I went on to also own SWAP Force and Superchargers (never ended up playing Trap Team or Imaginators), along with numerous figures. Still own all of it.
I actually played skylanders and even got the Wii version of superchargers. After that I lost interest in skylanders. I still have the figures but I don't play the games anymore. The OST was banger after banger and I personally love Kaos' theme in trap team. Skylanders was part of my childhood.
I remember when I was younger with my mum in a a store (forgot which one) I passed the shelves just by side of the checkout and there was 1 easter trigger happy (the one on the rocket) and its honestly one of my fav skylanders memories since I didn't even know that figure existed lol
I absolutely loved that game back when I was a child and had literally every game except super chargers for my Wii Sadly we sold our Wii at a point and I couldnt play those games anymore But I bought Imaginators for the Playstation just so I could use my skylanders again lol (but I never really finished that game)
I also have a lot of the skylanders... Like a lot.. a lot... Also the song in that one game that went ‘It’s the end of your track skylander’ Was a banger
I only have supercharge and two figures: this cool fire dragon and the elf girl with minigun (yes i don't know their names but i still like them to this day)
i recently found my old skylanders and i remember watching skylander boy and girl and i also remember getting the last skylanders game i also got the donkey kong figure
Trap team is my personal favourite game. Not only are the figures are my favourite (to play as and the design of the figure) but it only brings back feeling I have from play ssa and giants
You can actually know from what game each skylander is from the color of the base since some skylanders from the original game have some reposes or variants introduced later on like your warnado is from swap force (blue bottom = swap force) and orange = giants and green is from spyros adventure
My favorite skylanders memory was actually made two days ago when me and my friends decided to beat skylanders trap team from the start all the way to the traptainium kaos fight
I got introduced to it via Skylander Boy and Girl, Nothing beats the Skylander Buying and playing cycle, I grew up with Trap Team and got it in *Late* 2014 or Early 2015, So i was in this middle section where everyone knew what the New Elements were and they were on my poster i got but nobody actually had the Traps for them
My husband and I have been playing it together for a few years now we have a huge tin full of almost all the Skylanders we went crazy buying them and playing all the games
This brings back memories one day in 2016 me and my brother were playing Skylanders superchargers and my mom took us to go get blizzards then took us to five below and let us each get two Skylander figures then we got home and me and bro opened the new figures we got and played until 9:00 pm i have so many great memories with this franchise
The only reason that i got into skylanders is because I went to the fleamarket and a complete brand new set of trap team for the wii was selling for $10. This was like 2 years ago
Me and my cousin were crazy for Skylanders and played every game up until super chargers that's when I lost interest in the series but me and him loved the series so much I would almost every day run down to his house so that we could play it together on his Xbox 360.
Nostalgia probably. It has been like 12 years since the first game released and it has been a thing on people's minds since it was a MASSIVE thing back then so some of those people who remember will be content creators.
I remember going into my local TOYS R US and looking and seeing the slanted wall shelf of skylanders and Disney infinity. I would always walk out of that store with 2 skylanders. Come a month ago I played Giants in one sitting from start to finish, and this game aged like a fine wine- also my Xbox 360 wanted to cry after that but idc.
My best memory was getting the very first game. I was always a loner and hated gaming unlike every other boy in my age group. My friend had this game and i tried it at his place and FELL IN LOVE. A week or 2 before my birthday i came home from School to an early birthday present. Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure. I placed that for 4 hours straight. I had just enough money for 2 more figured, and BEGGED my mom to take my 2 ToysRUs, and there, i bought Dino Rang and Hex. And for every day the following days, i played as those 5 figures and i now live alone and has moved Out, those figures stand on a shelf in my apartment. Skylanders is my favorite childhood memory
I remember playing swap force(1st game), giants, and spyros adventure crazy. After that I played kept playing at the new ones with my friend. They were great games. Plus when I didn't have those later games I would just watch thise gameplays.
i remember as a kid we had so many skylanders, my father bought a massive box of used skylanders for like 50 quid on ebay, and it included the scarlet coloured ninjini, she was mother tbh...
This guy summed out my entire childhood in a single video down all the way to sky lander boy and girl I binged watch their videos to this day (aka my opinion trap team was the best game)
God, I saw those as a six year old, and I immediately wanted all of them but my family was broke 😢 didn’t stop us from getting a couple and getting the first game which I would play nonstop as a child. I remember telling people at school about it and like barely anyone knew about it back then in my state, I was like the only child they play it and most of the games are so good sadly I didn’t have them and now it’s pretty dead.
ofc i remember skylanders tho i never played it when i was younger i would watch other people play it because i didnt have a wii or any console and i would literally dream of playing the game that just shows how popular skylanders was
every week i would make my dad come with to go to target, toys r us just to see if ninjini had come out yet all because i had seen a video where skylanderboyandgirl had it so i thought it meant it had come out it wasnt till later like a month of me doing this that my older brother searched it up and said to me that they released them early in america. I was crushed. I 5 and a half when i player giants so my stupidity is excused.

I could let my creative and imaginative mind loose to make up my own story within that universe, it was the one thing that fueled my (fan)artist mind back then!
my 1st game was trap team
then swap force
then superchargers(wii)
and when imaginators came out i 100% needed that
Sky landers was my first video game it taught me the language of games and I remember having way too many of these.
My friend owned skylanders as well so I always came over to play lol. Loved that game.
i love skylanders and i loved seeing this amazingly edited and very fun video about them, thanks!
btw the switch version of imaginators is expensive bc it didnt release in october 2016 like the og version, it released when the switch launched back in 2017. So basically they launched a toys to life game when the genre was pretty much dead, causing it to sell very few copies so it didn't really get restocked that much. (so few copies of the game --> game is expensive)
Trap team was the one I started with I know it’s not the best but the nostalgia is like crack for 7 year old me
The little bit about never owning Spyro's Adventure but having played the whole thing in your friend's basement; literally my SSA experience.
Truly a legendary series of games. They still hold up, even today.
I actually played skylanders and even got the Wii version of superchargers.
After that I lost interest in skylanders. I still have the figures but I don't play the games anymore.
The OST was banger after banger and I personally love Kaos' theme in trap team.
Skylanders was part of my childhood.
0:11 That’s My Pfp
Skylanders is super cool you should definitely review these games especially superchargers, it’s easily in my top five favorite games of all time
I remember when I was younger with my mum in a a store (forgot which one) I passed the shelves just by side of the checkout and there was 1 easter trigger happy (the one on the rocket) and its honestly one of my fav skylanders memories since I didn't even know that figure existed lol
I still occasionally collect Amiibo, Skylanders and Disney Infinity figures. By that I mean I'm in crippling dept please help me.
YESSSSS, You just unlocked an old memory. Thank you :)
Finally i found someone that love Skylanders and yo-kai watch like me.
Wow
I absolutely loved that game back when I was a child and had literally every game except super chargers for my Wii
Sadly we sold our Wii at a point and I couldnt play those games anymore
But I bought Imaginators for the Playstation just so I could use my skylanders again lol (but I never really finished that game)
Chill bill had a come back mene
I keep coming back to listen to Wolfgangs boss theme. I picked up tons of these things at doller stores, fun game!
I also have a lot of the skylanders...
Like a lot.. a lot...
Also the song in that one game that went
‘It’s the end of your track skylander’
Was a banger
I only have supercharge and two figures: this cool fire dragon and the elf girl with minigun (yes i don't know their names but i still like them to this day)
Yes, I do remember Skylanders and I'm still a fan of the series.
My favorite game is Swap Force, on the consoles and even on 3DS.
Fun fact the reason the switch version is more expensive is because not a lot were produced and you can save skylanders onto the switch version
i recently found my old skylanders and i remember watching skylander boy and girl and i also remember getting the last skylanders game i also got the donkey kong figure
I don't remember what version of the Skylanders I played but Yes I remember playing skylanders
Trap team is my personal favourite game. Not only are the figures are my favourite (to play as and the design of the figure) but it only brings back feeling I have from play ssa and giants
skylanders is my favourite game and it must return
skylanders was my childhood so since everybody including you hopefully tells activision make a “anotha one”
The air jordan 1 electro/metallic orange is an awesome shoe. I like your style amiibo man
You can actually know from what game each skylander is from the color of the base since some skylanders from the original game have some reposes or variants introduced later on like your warnado is from swap force (blue bottom = swap force) and orange = giants and green is from spyros adventure
My favorite skylanders memory was actually made two days ago when me and my friends decided to beat skylanders trap team from the start all the way to the traptainium kaos fight
Skylanders may be gone but it’ll still hold a special place in my heart and soul. It’s that amazing!!!
I own a sort of transparent red Drill Runt for Spyro's Adventure. Don't know why but I have it.
Can you finish the other half of the skylanders series please, like just get the individual games you’re missing
I recently went back and played Skylanders and I forgot how fun it is. Currently playing Imaginators and getting the Platinum
I only played the sequel Skylanders Giants. I also saw some during one of my shifts at Savers in small plastic bags on display.
Why do I keeping seeing Skylanders videos all of a sudden. My childhood is trying to hunt me down 😭
It is coming out of fast piece.
RUN
Nostalgia probably. It has been like 12 years since the first game released and it has been a thing on people's minds since it was a MASSIVE thing back then so some of those people who remember will be content creators.
Hearing the skylands music just made me cry immediatly
Remember? I still play the games and collect the figures
Me to
I still play Skylanders (I have every game on PS3 and PS4) and I still love it the same way as a kid
bro I was exactly like that when I was little I have a huge trap force collection
I remember skylanders, and i still play them.
I still have the dvds and the characters I always play it to this day
This guy summed out my entire childhood in a single video down all the way to sky lander boy and girl I binged watch their videos to this day (aka my opinion trap team was the best game)
Skylanders and Disney Infinity were my Childhood
Yep I remember skylanders its a big part of my childhood and I was playing it yesterday
I’m still trying to collect specific rare skylanders
I bought one last week as a matter of fact
God, I saw those as a six year old, and I immediately wanted all of them but my family was broke 😢 didn’t stop us from getting a couple and getting the first game which I would play nonstop as a child. I remember telling people at school about it and like barely anyone knew about it back then in my state, I was like the only child they play it and most of the games are so good sadly I didn’t have them and now it’s pretty dead.
Skylanders was so popular when i was a kid people would flex their Skylanders like they did with Pokémon cards and Beyblades
This was my first videogame and after 11 years i still play it
ofc i remember skylanders tho i never played it when i was younger i would watch other people play it because i didnt have a wii or any console and i would literally dream of
playing the game that just shows how popular skylanders was
every week i would make my dad come with to go to target, toys r us just to see if ninjini had come out yet all because i had seen a video where skylanderboyandgirl had it so i thought it meant it had come out it wasnt till later like a month of me doing this that my older brother searched it up and said to me that they released them early in america. I was crushed. I 5 and a half when i player giants so my stupidity is excused.
i grew up on skylanders swap forces, my parents spoiled me with the figurines so i have tons and tons
