i remember watching crystal maze in one of our local channels (RPN-9) here in the philippines. It was so good! i remember that puzzle with the wheels was my favorite.
To follow order of operations it would be written as (100+8/8)*5+50/25. I came up with (25+50-sqrt100)*8-5-8. I'm glad there is more than one way to get to 507 :)

Tbh I have tried twice now to get on the Chase here in Australia and came really close to getting on the show only for one of the participants to pull out before filming was to go ahead a couple of days beforehand. Right now though, I am waiting for my second chance as I reapplied a couple months ago. Funny thing is where I work my employers know the host of the show quite well, so well in fact that I got to meet him properly as I had met him during the filming of a different gameshow back in 2012.

Well British gameshows are targeted at a British Audience and there's little value in pushing them internationally given game shows (at least trivia based ones, the likes of Taskmaster are a little different although the humour is still clearly based on the country of origin) have questions for that country's audience. Doctor Who being one of the BBCs biggest exports is targeted world wide...pretty simple.

They didn't show the math solution for countdown, I got 8/8 is 1 // 1+100 =101x5 is 505, 50/25 is 2// 505 plus 2 is 507.
