Nice done with good kit. Good resolve of troubles from kit. I made one Blenheim Mk.I from Airfix and I also had these troubles with front part. I must try to make another Blenheim again in the future. All the best for You! ;)
Great result on what seems to be a tricky build. I’ve got one in its box so am trying to find out about any potential issues with the build. Your video is very helpful and informative 👍
Very well done video! You clearly communicate the information without going on and on…. (Some videos take more than twice as long to convey the same amount of info!) One tip for anyone like me who is inspired by this video: I have this kit in my stash, so I have been looking at reviews. One thing suggested in some of the reviews is to attach the cockpit sides to the fuselage halves as a first step, then add the cockpit to one half before closing it up. (like you’d do in most aircraft kits.). That seems to help with the alignment/fit/gap issues…. I also really liked your twist on pre-shading, where you used the random splotches template. Clever idea!!! Thank you for taking the time and effort to make this video!
Thank YOU for taking the time to give me such a nice feedback! I personally prefer short videos, that's why I try to pack only the most relevant information into the video. Good luck with your Blenheim!
great job...I am only in my third year of modeling...lots to learn. I find the airbrushing difficult but I am learning on older /cheap models first..haha Gratz on a great job and Thank You
@@woody3590 I totally agree, I started modelling about 7 years ago and there's still so much to learn! Airbrushing takes practice but soon you'll see progress and won't go back to brush painting!
@@Starfishscalemodeling I think the first model I airbrushed I said that I would never go back to brush painting. I couldnt believe how even the paint was and not one brush stroke. Now I have to get good at it..haha...cheers from the north shore of Lake Superior (Marathon) Ontario Canada
I'm currently doing this same airfix MK1 Blenheim and I'm seriously struggling with the plastic parts for the nose, it's such a poor fit and gaps everywhere. Hopefully once done the masks will help when painting. I don't want to use plastic cement as the glass will fog up
Nice build, good to see the trouble I'm having with my Blenheim isn't different to anyone else.
Really good finished model....
@@jexxajess6837 Thanks a lot buddy! Good luck with your Blenheim!

Good to know that so many others had the same issues! Thanks for your comment!
This is a beautiful build…and thank you for your clear concise instructions 👍👍
Thanks for your feedback Paul!

Thanks a lot for your feedback and good luck with your Blenheim!
Great job. Really made me feel better about not being able to have parts fit 100% and what to do.
Thank you! These fitting issues were a test of my nerves!
Thanks Starfish - it turned out excellent in the end - im having the same problem with the cockpit / canopy on Airfix 1/72, cheers Liam
@@ljscalemodels526 That canopy is indeed quite tricky but you can do it!
@@Starfishscalemodeling 🙏 i hope so - gonna be a lot of filling and sanding!
@@ljscalemodels526 just be careful with those clear parts 😅
@@Starfishscalemodeling definitely - the issue now is gonna be attaching the cockpit and fuselage 🤣cheers.

@@woody3590 I still use the brush for small details. It's great to have this versatility!
You did a great job considering the fit issues. Glad the masks saved you some time.
Thank you Kevin. As I said, the masks are great!
Nice build!
Thanks mate 😊

@@grahamhutton3129 The canopy is definitely the trickiest part of this kit. Good luck!
