03:44 I noticed before but here is a great example of how incredibly sure your brush strokes are. Really amazing, just precisely what you want to hit you hit. Really cool to watch 🤩
Infinity models are awesome like the game 😊. Congrats and thank you very much for creating this content is very useful and inspiring. Do you need contrata step is needed? Seemed like it made the painting a little bit dirty. Maybe regular wash would work better. I am starting my morats this week! In my case I go for green-lime as main color for armor that will work very well with red skin! 😊
To be honest, the contrast step is a short cut because I wanted to finish the model relatively fast :) Ideally, you wouldn't use either the contrast or a wash, but do the highlighting properly :D The wash would work in a similar way but I think it would be worse for this step since it would lower the vibrancy of the colors and it would make the model actually dirtier than the contrast. A watered down ink might be a better substitute, like one of the other posters suggested. Good luck with the Morats, at some point I'll have to get some of those as well, they look great :)
Sure, that would work as well for tainting the highlights. You would lose some of the contrast shading effect that you can get from the contrast flowing into the recesses. But you can compensate for that in other ways. You can do some proper black lining for example.
Hey guys! Are you collecting Combined Army? Which CA minis would you like me to paint?
- Ph3lan
Med techs (Combine Army Support Pack) would be nice.
@Casper Janowski wow, those guys are quite... different :D They look very fun to paint, though.
Any Morat!
I think the Avatar would be a really fun project with a lot of scope to play around with colours.

Practice makes perfect, I guess :😀
😍😍😍 amazing
Edge highlight is such a game changer
It absolutely is. You can mess up everything else, but as long as the edge highlights are done reasonably well, the model will look good :)

Is that Sansodor you use or is it white spirit in the Sansodor bottle?
It is indeed Sansodor.
Instead of contrast paints is it possible to use thinned down vallejo red inks?

What was that music you used at the start of the video? It was pretty nice.
Hey! It is a built-in music track in my editing software titled "go big or go home".
