The Yaw VR guys are doing a similar sort of thing for commercial use for Cessna planes for flight schools. It has a real Cessna cockpit with all of the dials and controls and uses hand tracking. They're running it with a piece of software called Insight, which they've submitted to Steam and are waiting to pass the Submission process. It allows you to place steering wheel and HOTAS controllers into sims. And best of all it also handles Motion Compensation. Got some good news last week regarding the Yaw2, all going well, they're going to start shipping to backers again during the next few months! 🎉👍😁😎
Yeah I read that they were doing that the other day. Unfortunately it seems as if @YawVR has abandoned me...They are no longer even returning my messages! It's a shame and TBH makes me a bit sad after all the years I spent promoting them (≡)-(
@vrgamerdude I wouldn't worry about them not replying to messages, this is quite common. People are always complaining about it on Facebook and the Discord. I've also had a few emails that haven't got replies. Keep trying! 👍
I thought Pimax is hiring you to help them setting up the work for people to demonstrate, what happened there? lol. How do you end up being a spectator lol.
They sponsored and paid for my trip out to CES but did not hire me.. I helped them out a little bit in their booth by providing coverage such as this and a few other videos that I will be posting over the next couple of weeks.
